Peaceful, and very quiet. Owners very welcoming, showing us around the cottage, and left a lovely surprise of scones, cream and strawberry jam, plus a bottle of wine. Cottage was warm and beds comfortable, though 3 piece suite could be a little more supportive, as being elderly found them very low to sit on! Nice to have internet (first time my sister and I had used the internet away from our homes)!!

An amazing holiday home ,a warm welcome with wine , cream ,jam and scones in fridge tea coffee sugar and milk .quick shop and back to relax in a comfy chair . The garden enclosed so our dog could enjoy his holiday friends in the field above too, he enjoyed his time with them greeting them morning and night nose to nose. Everyday a new animal would come into the garden, rabbits, chicken, squirrel, pheasant and a unwelcome fox . Our beds after a long day by the coast very comfortable From rural Surrey the nights are a surprising pitch black no street lights here The Stables is the best we have been too and hope to book again very soon Thank you toAlyson and her husband for all the hard work

The furniture in the cottage was really tired needing renewing in case of settees. Exterior of cottage again in serious need of tlc. Also mu ch to far away from civilisation.

The Stables is tucked away in a very rural location with only the local train service breaking the complete peace and quiet. The Stables was very comfortable with everything you could need. Our hosts were friendly, helpful but left you to enjoy your holiday. There are plenty of walks and a nature reserve on the doorstep but if you're looking for shops and pubs for most people this would involve using the car.

The cottage has great potential, but the quality of the conversion and the fittings was disappointing

We had a lovely week at the cottage. Lots of positives, particularly the lovely enclosed garden for the dog to run freely in. Fantastic food at the local pub and the only real disappointment was the typical British weather!

Great spot really nice place, some minor changes to the decoration could make it so much more. Main issue was the mattress which was very soft which is not good for me.

We had a wonderful time at the stables, particularly with the chickens in the morning, waiting at the door for their breakfast. Although lovely location for peace and quiet, it was a little far from where we had hoped to visit - our fault really in not looking more closely at the location. Couldn't fault the accommodation, as had everything you needed and was lovely to stay in.

Lovely clean and comfy cottage with big rooms and everything you need for a week away. We were welcomed by the owner then left to enjoy our holiday which is how we like it.
