Rather disappointing as Ticketeryboo is not a cottage, but an apartment in a ground floor three-story block. There is no garden area to sit in so if you are staying there in the summer months you would have to go elsewhere to enjoy the evening sunshine. The allocated parking space is however, a bonus. The accommodation itself is rather dated with the mishmash of furniture; beds were quite uncomfortable. The whole apartment was quite dark and gloomy and not helped by the color scheme. On the plus side its well equipped, and is in easy reach of all amenities. Beer is a lovely place to stay and there is plenty to see and do in the area. Personally, we thought this accommodation was too expensive for what it had to offer and looking around the area there were far more appealing places to stay so we won't be making a return visit.

Disappointed! This was not a cottage so slightly misleading. No outside space to enjoy the summer evenings. The apartment was ok but basic and quite dated and dreary looking. We have stayed in some amazing cottages over the years but this was very pricey compared to others we have visited. Other holiday makers who were staying in the same apartment block had paid £400 less than us for the same week and time!! Beer itself is a beautiful picturesque village: a fabulous location.

What a beautiful place to stay in. The cottage was fab and had everything we needed and more. We took our two cats and they have never been so happy. Beer is so pretty and there is no need to use a car if you didn't want to. We will definitely be back!!

Extremely comfortable, spotless and well located property - exactly what we had been looking for when we had been searching on line. As a base for visiting East Devon and Dorset Beer is perfect as well as providing a good and varied array of eateries.
