Sandford (ref E5340), Trent (ref E3612) and Compton (ref E3613) all feature very well-appointed interiors. The properties even have toys provided for children! The three properties lie on the owners’ working farm just 2 miles from Sherborne with its two castles. Iron Age hill forts, great houses and gardens, charming market towns, Fleet Air Arm and motor museums, and fossil hunting on the World Heritage coast are all within easy reach. Superb walking can be enjoyed from the door. Shops 2 miles, pub 1.5 miles.
    All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen area. 3 bedrooms: 2 double (one zip and link, can be twin on request), one (5ft four poster) with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin. Bathroom with corner bath, shower cubicle and toilet.

    This is a fabulous place, we were welcomed by the owners Ron and Jill and given a tour round the cottage. The cottage has the look and feel of a boutique hotel with lots of extra's thrown in, but we certainly were very surprised by the Victoria Sandwich cake which had been made by the owners. It was very tasty!! A lovely place, peaceful and even had some friendly visiting dogs. Thanks

    The firmness of the beds was our only negative. That said, we have soft beds at home, so for those used to a firmer mattress it will likely be fine. Everything else was faultless from the welcome pack, to the surroundings, cleanliness and space we had to enjoy both in the accommodation and on the farm itself. Its in a good central location to go in all four points of the compass with many attractions no more that an hours drive.

    A beautiful cottage in idyllic surroundings. The cottage is extremely well equipped, the owners really have thought of everything. They are very welcoming and helpful. Our young grandson fell in love with the farm and loved visiting the animals. He particularly loved the dogs, Rupert and Molly. I would highly recommend this cottage.

    What a brilliant and warm welcome you receive from the owners of Trent. This is situated in 45 acres of farm land close to the owners property. You see all the animals when you drive in and can walk around the farm at your own leisure. The accommodation is out of this world, everything is catered for and this was true on our holiday with my disabled fathering law, whom the owners looked after by bringing in extra equipment to assist him in using the showers and bath. The farm is quiet, the accommodation is modern and relaxing. And top speck this is the best place I have stayed in for ages, and 10 does not score it high enough. We were showed around the Trent on the day of arriving by Jill. WE had a home made basket of goodies awaiting for us as well as a warm and friendly smile . We went out most days, Sherbourn is a nice place to visit . along with the many attraction and places to go, But if relaxation is what you want then the Trent is for you, Sitting on the bench outside the property looking over at the farm land and the animal, having a cuppa of tea is so relaxing . I can recommend this accommodation as first class . and will defiantly be going back to stay again. Steve kings lynn
