Tythe Barn is an absolute gem. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped, could not fault it at all. The owners were great, very welcoming, friendly, and nothing was to much trouble. We were a group of 8 ladies and we had more than enough room!! I would definitely recommend this cottage, to family and friends and we will certainly be returning next year.

Accommodation very good but within working farm area not suitable for children. Kingsley village has no facilities even for the locals.

Our family of two grandparents, two sons and spouses and four grandchildren had a week of great fun despite wet weather. The barn converted cottage was perfect for us all and had everything we required including two provided cots. We even liked the huge herd of cows in the farm behind!

Enjoyed our stay here very much. However, we were surprised there wasn't a small garden. The only place for the grandchildren to play while got ready to go out was at the front of the barn with cars about and access to the road. Also, no washing line so had to use the tumble dryer. A lock on the downstairs toilet and the upstairs bathroom would have saved embarrassment as well! The barn was comfortable with easy access to the Peak District and with good weather we were able to get out and about every day. Had a great holiday.

      Tythe Barn(E3354)

      This beautifully converted, comfortably furnished detached barn lies in a peaceful, neat courtyard with lovely views. It is situated at the edge of a village and adjacent to the owner’s dairy farm, midway between the Potteries and the Peak District, just 5 miles from Alton Towers and Splash Landings swimming pool and convenient for Drayton Manor. For birdwatchers, there is an all-weather hide on site or you can enjoy superb walking. Within 8 miles you can take a canal trip, ride on a steam train or hire bikes and cycle the Manifold Trail. Pub 100 yards.
      Ground floor: Living room with oak floor/dining area/kitchen. Second living room. Separate toilet. First floor: 4 bedrooms: 2 double, both with en-suite shower room and toilet, 2 twin, one with en-suite toilet. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.
