Nice property fully equipped, with hot-tub. Property was clean and well furnished, owner was very welcoming and left us to our own devices. We arranged to arrive at 2.30 as 'standard' check in time was 4pm.

Absolutely loved our stay! The house is stunning, so clean and we all enjoyed staying here. It could be improved by having wifi, as it’s in the middle of no where, our entire group had no signal so no one could contact us to see how we all were, vice versa. There’s nothing near by, however it’s the perfect place to stay if you want a break, peace and quiet. Definitely recommend the house itself! Great for children, games room upstairs. Met the owner as she came to check on the hot tubs water levels, she was also very lovely.

Lovely location, photos make the cottage look outstanding. However it is not and we arrived feeling slightly annoyed. They do not show all the dirty old barns opposite that you see when you wake up in the mornin and look out to from the kitchen and living room or the smelly sheep barn next to the hot tub and garden that you constantly smell and hear. Cottage needs a good scrub, old food in cupboards ( onions, stale bread ,milk), we stay on these holidays every 3 months this has been the worst, there is mice in the cottage that run along the waste pipe that’s boxed in along the perimeter of the downstairs floor on the inside then mice droppings in bottom of kitchen cupboard. Which upset our dogs. It feels more like somebody’s home. Everything is sticky and dusty, Bedding is dirty, black hairs and dust, on removing bedding on departure we were horrified to see the stains and dirt on the protectors and pillows which are old and obviously not cleaned. Hotub set to 38 but more like 20 when used baby’s thermometer so unable to use it, also very dirty and lots of mildew ( welcome book stated it’s cleaned when needed?) and normally on holidays the chemicals and water get checked daily as part of health and hygiene this never was the case. So we didn’t use it as it looked disgusting. Promised lights on when arriving no lights pulled up to pitch black dirty farm yard and after a long drive it took some doing not to turn around. It needs a deep clean generally really dissapointed. Upstairs stated bathroom with overhead shower, there was a shower hose just laying in the bath no way of showering so useless. Living room drawers full of old cards and people’s booking forms ( with personal data intact dated back to 2014 which shoood of been discarded on cleaning? overall very dirty and outside needing a good jet wash and a paint job therefore it left our party of 5 feeling very disappointed and not wanting to return, as we Didn’t relax as we should off and have therefore wasted a lot of money. Normally only have good feedback, this is honest truth., and we wish we would of spent our money elsewere.

Cheeky little winter break. Three adults, two children and two dogs. Fantastic cottage had everything we needed and plenty warm enough. The girls were kept entertained with the games room. We had lots of time to relax and recharge our batteries. The dogs had walk after walk which are right on the doorstep and loved every minute of it. We will never forget sitting in the hot tub at night with a little glass of fizz while it was snowing on us. Memorable few days.

Stunning cottage in very quiet and isolated area. You feel you are definately alone with nothing but peace and privacy. Went with 3 adults and 2 children, plenty of room for all and cottage is finished to a very high standard. Only thing missing is lack of wi-fi or phone signal, but that is only a minor gripe. Would highly recommend 👍

Purpose of short break was to celebrate a family members 50th birthday. We wanted remote and what a fabulous place we chose. Stunning autumnal views, visits from robins, woodpecker, birds of prey and of course the sheep! Felt we were in our own little bubble as nothing around for miles. Cottage was cosy and modern with plenty to entertainment in the games room and then of course we had the hot tub every day. Absolutely loved it and would love a return visit. Only negative was the limited signal for mobile .... A short walk up to the top of the field each day to check messages!

There are many positives such as the lovely location, space, cleanliness, games room and lovely hot tub. The bedrooms are really comfy. The shower and bath upstairs is really slow to run and there are a few comments in the visitor book about this. The bath is not really usable. There is no wifi, which would have been nice to get Netflix etc in the evening. If you need to be in contact there is very little/no phone signal depending on provider. A map or advice not to use a satnav would be helpfull. We got very lost on the way in.

Perfect retreat when you want to get away. 4adults, 2 x 10yr olds and a toddler, stayed and there was every we could possibly need. Owners were lovely and we SHALL be returning. All you could want and need from a cottage break. PS we loved the lack of WiFi and mobile phone signal 😊

This is one of the best properties we have stayed at. From the hot tub to the view from the fantastic decking area outside it was all amazing. Cant wait to go again.
