Located in over 17 acres of open fields and woodland, there are six holiday log cabins, one of which we feature here. Ideally situated just ten minutes from Inverness and near to Loch Ness, each has been beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout. On the very doorstep is some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland. Outside you can sit or dine on the veranda and enjoy watching the sunset late into the evening. The self catering log cabin overlooks meadows where highland cattle graze, and has views towards the mountains. The log cabin is built with the highest quality Finnish pine from Lapland, with most home comforts. Locally there are shops and a malt whisky distillery for everyday items at Muir of Ord, which is a short drive away, or can be reached by tracks from the log cabins where roe deer and red kites can often be seen, and more occasionally, pine martens and red squirrels. Inverness with its shops, restaurants, theatre and museums is only ten miles away. Golf, fishing and trips on Loch Ness can be arranged locally. Family and pet friendly the log cabins are ideally situated for exploring this mountainous, peaty wilderness, surrounded by magnificent coastline. From the fertile ’Flow Country’ of North Scotland near Thurso and Wick to the expansive beaches, sea lochs and cliffs around Ullapool, Gairloch and the gateway to Skye.

Ground floor: open plan sitting/dining room with wood burning stove and well equipped kitchen area. 3 bedrooms – 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and 1 twin room with adjacent shower room with WC. First floor: second living room.
