Several inns are in walking distance – one famously reached by a hand pulled ferry (pictured). Offa’s Dyke and the wildlife, Sculpture Trail, museums, steam trains and cycle hire and trails in the Forest of Dean are 3 miles, Monmouth is 5 miles and Tintern Abbey 15 miles. Shop 2 miles.
