Cottage very small but cosy and warm. The staircase is narrow and there is a need to wear shoes or slippers on the open metal treads. The owners were very helpful, replenishing fuel for the log burner without delay and immediately replacing the television when the old one wouldn't work. The area is lovely and close to beaches. We particularly liked Ogmore, somewhere we haven't visited before.

This is a very well placed cottage for exploring the glorious scenery, and gives a cosy feel after a day out. We did feel that having to keep a log fire burning to provide hot water was a bit of a fag, especially after a long journeywhen a hot shower would be welcome! We managed the tight spiral staircase, just, but this is not suitable for anyone less agile or slim than we are. The attic would only be safe for a child of eight plus,as the ladder up is steep. Obviously the owners have given a great deal of thought to the conversion of a stable and have in lots of ways done a great job.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was terrible weather so the comfort of a wood burning stove was extremely welcome. The owner was friendly and helpful but not intrusive (considering this is next to their house!). Small but perfectly formed accommodation ideal for us as a couple. We did get some walks in but expect it would be fantastic in summer when it would be easier to enjoy the lovely surroundings. Quiet location with a shop and couple of pubs within walking distance, though you'd probably want a car.

A beautifully converted old stable with well thought-out, cosy space for 2. The woodburner heats the whole house very fast, and the hot water too. We loved the local walks and visits to the uncrowded local beaches. The owners were most friendly and helpful, and we hope to go back.

Great tranquil location, Gower & Brecons easily accessible.Property small but clean and thoughtfully designed - very comfy bed & great shower unit. Note - stairs could be problematic for less mobile people.

Intended as a holiday base, quickly turned into a real home from home. Highly recommended.
