BED LINEN & TOWELS - Do we need to bring our own bed linen and towels?

Bed linen is included in the hire charge, unless stated, and beds will be made up where stated. Towels are sometimes provided, and where this is the case, the accommodation details will state whether they are included in the hire charge or charged extras.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR BOOKINGS - Can I book for Christmas and New Year online?

At some locations, there may be a change to the normal start day for Christmas and New Year bookings to fall into line with the days of the week on which these holidays fall.

CLEANING - Is our accommodation cleaned between and during holidays?

Your accommodation will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. As a limited amount of time is available to clean between holidays, please help us to maintain our standards by leaving your accommodation and its contents in a clean and tidy condition. Cleaning is not provided during your holiday.

ELECTRICITY & GAS CHARGES - Will we have to pay extra for electricity and gas?

The accommodation description will tell you whether electricity and gas charges are included in the hire charge, or whether they are at extra cost. If charged by meter reading, this will be payable at the end of your holiday. If gas or electricity is by card or coin meter, you will need cards (available from reception), or you should take a supply of £1 or 50p coins with you.

HEATING - Will there be heating in our accommodation?

The accommodation details will tell you whether heating is available, and whether it is included in the hire charge, or at extra cost.

Pet-free accommodation

Please note that we cannot guarantee that pet-free accommodation will be free of allergens.

PETS - Can we bring our pet on holiday with us and will we be charged?

Many of our locations allow pets (although they often have some ‘pet-free’ accommodation too). There are sometimes additional facilities for your pet, too. There will be a charge for pets at most locations, which will be shown in the description, and pet charges are payable together with your total holiday cost (there is no charge for assistance dogs – see ‘Assistance Dogs’). For short breaks, pets are charged at 66% of the weekly rate shown for your chosen location.

Animals other than dogs can only be accepted with special permission from the park, and there are restrictions on some dog breeds (see point 16 of our Booking Conditions or point 13 for the Channel Islands. Alternatively, please call our booking team on 0844 847 1356 for assistance. Some parks allow a maximum of one dog per accommodation, and only a few will accept more than two by arrangement. You will be responsible for your pet’s behaviour and should bring a basket, as pets are not allowed on the furniture. Please bear in mind that pets should not be left unattended, and that gardens and grounds may not have ‘pet proof’ boundaries. Remember, too, that many public areas and leisure buildings may be ‘out of bounds’ to dogs, and that some popular beaches prohibit dogs at certain times of the year.

Note: Pets may travel freely to and from the Channel Islands with no need for microchipping or veterinary inspection, etc.

STANDARD EQUIPMENT - What equipment will be in our accommodation?

Every accommodation we feature must meet Hoseasons guaranteed standards before it can be accepted. The styles and size will vary, but we insist that every home is fully equipped and furnished to include a fully furnished living accommodation with a suite or sofa bed, colour TV, bedrooms with all bed linen supplied (except cot linen) and with beds made up where stated, private bathroom or shower room, fully-equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker and ample pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.

VISITORS WITH MOBILITY DIFFICULTIES - Do you have any accommodation suitable for a wheelchair user or someone with restricted mobility?

Some of the locations featured on our website are not suitable for visitors with walking difficulties or those with prams or wheelchairs, as they may have steep gradients, steps or stairs. However, some have specially designed accommodations suitable for disabled visitors – please call our booking team on 0844 847 1356 who will do their best to ensure your requirements are met. You can do a search for 'wheelchair access' where some accommodation (the principal rooms* and the surrounding garden or grounds) is accessible to one visitor in a wheelchair. Help from other members of the party may be required to assist with some manoeuvres, and this classification does not guarantee access to all of the facilities and grounds at the location. This classification may be augmented by the National Accessible Scheme grades as follows:

In England only, the following categories apply:
Mobility Level 1:
Typically suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but would benefit from points of fixtures and fittings to aid balance.
Mobility Level 2:
Typically suitable for a person with restricted walking ability and for those that may need to use a wheelchair some of the time.
Mobility Level 3:
Typically suitable for a person who depends on the use of a wheelchair and transfers unaided to and from the wheelchair in a seated position.

Typically suitable for a person who depends on the use of a wheelchair

In Scotland and Wales only, the following categories apply:
Category 1: Accessible to a wheelchair user travelling independently.
Category 2: Accessible to a wheelchair user travelling with assistance.
Category 3: Accessible to someone with limited mobility but able to stand, walk a few paces, and (in some circumstances) up a maximum of three steps.

COTS & HIGHCHAIRS - Are cots and highchairs provided?

Cots and highchairs are available on request at many locations featured. There is often an extra charge for these which will be shown in the description and payable with your holiday charge. Please note that cots, highchairs and baby packs must be ordered in advance. Note that some bedrooms may not be large enough to accommodate cots – if this could be a problem, please check with our booking team.

Cots are only suitable for children under 2, who may or may not be counted as members of your party – see individual park descriptions for details. Linen for cots is not provided.
