although clean and tidy I think this particular cabin is due a refurb , there were chunks of laminate missing of the kitchen work surfaces ,and when you switch the TV on it came on at virtually full volume ,you had to be ready with the remote to turn it down so as not to annoy the neighbours . Very remote with no internet and no phone signal which I suppose in this day and age is no bad thing . We were told about this and pointed in the direction of the Land Line ,so not totally isolated . If you enjoy peace and quiet then this is the place for you. We would not go back and this is not a bad reflection of the site it is just that we enjoyed our stay and would go somewhere else next time.

Cabin was lovely, clean comfortable everything you needed, only thing not a complaint but would recommend a gate at top of stairs to decking area as it would have been handy for letting dog out to sit and could not escape, saw some cabins with them, even handy to keep children in

Absolutely loved it here. It's the place to go when you need peace and villages about 40 mins away. The lodge were immaculate and the people running it was fantastic. My only gripe about this place was there is no wifi. We didn't come here for iPads but we could research areas to walk or pubs to go or places to find out if they are wheelchair and dog friendly. please get wifi, it would make this a 10* Thanx v much. My oldest came back relaxed just before her exam and even deleted Fb!!! Scotland made quite the impression :)
