This small, family run holiday park sits in the quiet seaside village of Trearddur Bay on Anglesey’s north west coast. Most of the stunning 125-mile Anglesey coastline is a designated ’area of outstanding natural beauty’. The Anglesey Coastal Path, birdwatching at South Stack Cliffs and day trips to Dublin from Holyhead are all easily accessible. The whole family will love the indoor heated pool, together with a welcoming club, bar and adjoining games/family room for children. Beautiful coves and headland abound, while several excellent restaurants and horse riding are close by – some within walking distance. There are two golf courses in Trearddur, also popular for its rock fishing and watersports. The North Wales coast and breathtaking scenery of Snowdonia National Park is just 40 miles across the island via the A55. Three miles away is the port of Holyhead with regular sailings to Dublin and Dun Laoghaire. With the high speed ferries you can be in Ireland in just 99 minutes! Bar meals are available and there are several excellent restaurants in the village and surrounding area.

All breaks for all arrivals
We have been going several years now and will soon book a break the same week next summer as it is so good. l had been going to the bay for holidays from 1954 but the Bungalows make the holiday very special and the staff go out of the way to be helpful and friendly. We have been so pleased over the years and as my sister was looking for a holiday in September l told her to go there so she booked a break. There is only one point when booking in tell people there is black spots for the mobile phones so tell them to go up a bit and find the OK areas.
i slipped on the slope covered with wet grass outside the chalet.spent all night in the local hospital on morphine due to torn hamstring.never saw your manager or anyone of your employees.left for home next day.please consider a refund .

nb.now off work for 4/5 weeks.
Really enjoyed our stay. 2 dogs and 2 kids. Bungalow was perfect for what we needed. Kids enjoyed the pool and dogs enjoyed the beach. We took our dog crate with us so we could put the dogs away if we went on a trip etc which worked perfectly as obviously you shouldn't leave them unattended in the bungalow. Either the dogs didn't bark or the rooms were very sound proof, either way the dogs couldn't be heard outside.
The pub on site was a bonus for the evenings and we were able to enjoy a few drinks whilst the children enjoyed the 2p machines in the games room. All in all this was an enjoyable weekend away. My only down points would be little inconvenient things like no pot towl/kitchen roll. Only 1 toilet roll provided for 4 adults and 2 kids for 3 nights, no bath towls either which I didn't expect. We would probably stay again if there was an offer on but we paid quite a lot with it being school hols
We thoroughly enjoyed our short holiday in Anglesey Bungalows. A quiet location and a good base for travelling round the island.
We were a little disapointed with the quality of the bungalow. It had everything we needed but is severeley in need of updating. It's functional and little else.
The lounge area was uncomfortable and borderline tatty, but served as a place to sit and eat at least. It would have be nice to have been told upfront there was only an emmersion heater for hot water, but we at least noticed it in time for our 18 month olds bath time. Do not expect a useable shower.
The bungalow was obviously cleaned on arrival, as there was an overpowering smell of heavy cleaner/bleach. Which cleared when all the windows were opened. At least it was cleaned. However areas were very grimmy such as the fire blanket bag on the wall, the oven mit in the kitchen drawer which had food crusted on it and the door mat which had animal hairs embedded in it.
The bedding was clean and fresh.
The bedroom curtains let light through to the point we didn't want lights on at night and felt we had no privacy as from the outside you could see in too much.
The area has lovely sand and shale beaches. Very nicely kept, with sufficient ammenities. Although be prepared for little or no phone signal and take cash as the local machines generally charge for withdrawels and the card machines in some cases were failing due to phone lines.
The site pool looked useable if simple but we didn't use it. The play area was totaly disappointing and in my opinion should be removed completely for saftey, or overhalled entirely.
The rest of the site is fairly well maintained at it's basic level, but I went for a short wander to look round and within around 100 yards had trodden in dog muck on the main path and didnt notice until i walked into the lounge. This very nearly had me packing up to leave after the general disappointment but half a bottle of dettol later and it was gone. Sadly I can see the appeal of sites with "no pets" policies now.
Finally, the picture above the main bed (not children's room thankfully) was not attached to the wall but was balancing on its rawlplug in the hole. This fell off and the corner hit where my head would have been had I been in bed. That kind of lack of attention just isnt tolerable in a holiday let of any kind.
Overall, we still had a nice weekend, we just avoided the bungalow where possible. Even at the slightly discounted price we paid we could have stayed in what appears to be much nicer accomodation from adverts, having said that the bungalow wasnt mis-sold, we just didnt expect it to feel as uncomfortable and out of date as it did. Having stayed in private lets in locations such as Bath and York we've experienced relative luxury compared to this bungalow at a comparable daily price, which shouldn't be the case.
If the price was sub £50 per night it would be acceptable. Remember also that the electric is coin metered so that cost, albeit very small, isn't even included.
We'll be back to Trearddur Bay, but we won't stay at these bungalows again.
We had a lovely relaxing holiday at Anglesey bungalows.
Not a bad little place. Quiet and close to amenities. Wifi...not consistent ..Mobile use, limited. The location was lovely, though a little walk from the beach. Friendly staff. Cosy bungalow with good facilities.
Had a relaxing break with my 3 year old daughter however there was no on site facilities I.e sand pit ,small adventure theme park for her . The shallow end of the pool was too deep for a larger than average girl of her size and only one ball to play with . The changing facility was dated and too small The accommodation albeit tidy needs an upgrade as sofas were old and worn as was the bathroom . I would return as a base to do something else however not as a holiday for my daughter . Too expensive for the facilities on offer .
Beautiful location. Near to the sea and far away from towns and noise. Could not have wished for anything better.
we have now been to ANGLESEY BUNGALOWS 4 times and we have been very happy with the bungalows and have never had a problem, we noticed that all the bungalows have been upgraded, we would recomend any on to visit.
Site position good but bungalow needed some internal updating. In particular beds and some furniture.
Lovely location apartments could do with a bit of modernising however still good & you pay what you get. Ground well kept, pool was excellent although changing rooms small
Had a lovely week here and will definitely be going back
Nice place a little dated and well worn probably allocated to us due to having a dog but it was clean and tidy
