The setting for the bungalow is beautiful, the grounds are very well kept.I just hoped the reviews on the conditions of the bungalows were incorrect. They have plenty of room but need a bit of TLC.The shower had no pressure to it and the bath and tiles need a revamp.Anglesey is a beautiful part of the UK and well worth the stay, but not at Trearddur Bay Bungalows.
Great location, casual and relaxed accommodation, pool a little cold.
I was disappointed with the children's play area, a really good playground would have been the icing on the cake. But everything else was brilliant.
The bungalow needed updating and replacement suite and cooker. The site was calm and
relaxing just what we needed at the time although would like to go somewhere with nearer
towns in future. The staff were excellant and the chef's meals absolutely delicious. I would
recommend this site to others. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Was a good base for our holiday. Kids really enjoyed the pool & tennis court. The local pub had 2p slot machines which kept the family entertained every evening along with the various hosted events such as bingo, quiz night, etc! Water pressure for the shower could have been better but found workaround! All in all a nice set up.
good holiday staff very good
This is the second time we've stayed here. For a simple holiday getaway you can't fault it. The location is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Bungalows are basic, but clean and spacious. Clubhouse isn't really a clubhouse, just a bar with a singer, very small, gets busy very quickly with people and dogs! Amusements for kids is just a pool table and a 2p machine, which are both very dated. Staff weren't very helpful or friendly. We didn't use the pool so can't comment on it, we had lovely weather so spent every day at the beach. Playground is just a sand pit and a metal bar to climb on, not a playground at all. It's a great "base location" for spending days at the beach and exploring surrounding areas, but if the weather is bad and you're stuck on site there is nothing to do, especially if you've got children
Beautiful setting and good facilities overall. I felt the bungalow was shabby and could have been cleaner too.
A lovely place we really enjoyed ourselves. Even the dog had a good time.
Only issue we had was with the parking. I think each bungalow should have a designated parking space.
Dog owners should not be allowed to leave dogs unattended in the bungalow.
We would say accommodation adequate, facilities on site good, cleanliness of rooms good except for the heaters and heater plugs which needing cleaning, not nice looking at a dirty plug & heater - why would these be overlooked?
Some renovation needed, i.e. windows at rear wouldn't close properly, probably due to old timber frames. The white upvc windows in the front were ok. Staff very helpful, nice meal in restaurant on site.
Love this place and the bungalows. This our second year in the kingsland and it was great. The swimming pool was good the kids loved it. You have a Morrison's and tescos about a ten minute drive away. Plus you have two little newsagents in the bay, also a lovely bucket and spade shop for the kids. The beach is lovely and you have lots of walks you can go on around the bay. You have a couple of eating out places. Also if you drive on the island you can find other places for fun things to do. Would recommend to everyone and we are going again next year....
We were happy with the bungalow-it was clean and well equipped. The clubhouse was very limited due to space. The children loved the pool as they were able to play with their inflatables etc. All the staff I met were very friendly. Overall we enjoyed our holiday and the bungalow was a nice base to return to. Beware the ginger cat :)
Really enjoyed our holiday. Fantastic location. Comfortable bungalow. Dog enjoyed himself too.
