There are two golf courses in Trearddur, also popular for its rock fishing and watersports.

The North Wales coast and breathtaking scenery of Snowdonia National Park is just 40 miles across the island via the A55. Three miles away is the port of Holyhead with regular sailings to Dublin and Dun Laoghaire. With the modern high speed ferries you can be in Ireland in just 99 minutes!
