Helpfulness of staff
The lodge was absolutely superb and spotlessly clean. Very spacious and extremely well appointed and very tastefully furnished. Site was lovely and quite and secure. The only downside for me was there is no access to the surrounding woods and lake that we looked over. Perfect location though as a base to explore the surround area.

A quiet place to stay. Ideal for Seven Valley Railway and Bridgnorth.
A modern, spotless, well equipped lodge, in lovely peaceful surroundings.

Very quiet secluded location. Lodge clean and tidy.

There were no staff on the site where the lodge was situated. The location is very secluded and there are lots of bats! I think the site is over priced as there are no facilities or reception on site. The closest place is Bridgnorth which is nearly 3 miles away.
The lodge was lovely but I was aware from previous reviews there was no access to the lake as it was fenced but because of overgrowth of bushes and trees there was also no view of the lake which I was not aware and was a shame. The site should not be able to advertise any views or access to the lake as it is misleading.
this place is stunning. If your after peace and quiet then this is the place for you. Or lodge was extremley clean and a lot of thought has gone into it. Home from home. Will definitely stay again and would recommend to friends and family.

Had never been in a log cabin before! Was so peaceful and the owners had really thought about everything. So many little touches and helpful things which made our stay there even better! View was beautiful, interior also and everything you needed for self catering was there. They even provided little things like cloths, towels, soap, tea and coffee etc was only a short stay so the only negatives were that we would have liked to have stayed for longer.

Only criticism is that access to the site is awkward

Stay at one of our holiday parks in Shropshire and within this county’s extraordinarily beautiful landscape you’ll find more award-winning attractions and outdoor pursuits than you’d ever imagine possible. If Shropshire’s 32 castles don’t satisfy your thirst for history, step back in time at the Ironbridge Gorge where you can explore the birth of the Industrial Revolution in no fewer than ten museums, and life at the turn of the twentieth century is fascinatingly recreated at Blists Hill Open Air Museum. You’ll find an exciting array of activities within easy reach of our holiday parks. Shropshire’s unique topography is the perfect backdrop for walking, cycling, horse riding, hang gliding, fishing, golf and even hot air ballooning. And spectacular views are a feature of walks along the dramatic Long Mynd ridge and Offa’s Dyke.Almost completely surrounded by the River Severn, the ancient town of Shrewsbury is known for its beautifully preserved timber-framed buildings and the elegance of its Georgian architecture while historic Ludlow is famous as the county’s gastronomic capital, boasting two Michelin starred restaurants and some very fine food shops. Its castle is also impressive, as is nearby Stokesay Castle – explore them both when you book one of our caravan holidays in Shropshire.
