Initailly booked a silver but due to adding a pooch to our family had to amend booking to a bronze, caravan was not ready when we arrived , but we did arrive 1 hr early, advised we could use the facilities whilst we waited. Caravan was nice enough, but dated in places and tired looking, on closer inspection was not that clean, just superficially clean, had cobwebs down the side of the beds, oven had dirt in seal, windows were very dirty inside. Good array of utensils and pots and pans. Tv worked, had to pay for wifi in the caravan . The main bedroom had a double in which was on ply wood, we kept knocking our legs passing as it was proud of the mattress and the edges had not been rounded off ( i did inform them of this on leaving, something that could be rectified easily), hoover was useless ( kept coming apart and taped together in places, it stank when turned on !! We did not pay for passes as not using evening entertainment and did not need them for other facilities like the pool, games room . The park is immaculate and well looked after. The geographical setting is fab, right on the solway and so close to Dumfries and Galloway forest park. Chocolate factory and cream of Galloway were fab, as was watching the red kites being fed, all well worth the money. Lovely beach with access from the caravan park, grandkids loved rock pooling . Would we return , simply yes, but i think next time i would complain about it being dirty on arrival and not start to clean it myself next time !
