Caravan a bit too small but were use to being in a larger van. Bits an pieces of small damage to interior furniture. Gas fire useless, complained and they said its normal for a caravan, I owned one for 11 years in Norfolk and know when a gas fire is working or not, gas grill not too good either, brought a small electric toaster for my use whilst holidaying here.
Fridge had to be washed before use and also the grills bread holder which was rusty.

Excellent stay! We "fell" on this when a previous booking elsewhere was cancelled – and we found a gem and will certainly be booking again as we had a disabled member with us and everything was just right for everyone

Staff here are very helpful and will give you great ideas for your holiday. If you have a dog, the best place to eat is about 2 miles away at the "Ship" which allowes dogs into the bar and the food is great and very reasonable.
The caravan is in a nice location but our one the, Beverly 1 always had the smell of an open sewer when outside of it, not sure where this came from but think there is a composter business next to the site.
The dog walk around the fishing lake is let down by the previous holiday makers as I found it filthy with dog faeces although there are bins provided, shame on them. We used the walk along the drain which is much cleaner.
First time at Barmston Farm, and i'm sure it won't be the last. Lovely cottage, with so many extra thoughtful little touches - milk portions and tea so you can have a cuppa on arrival if you haven't bought your own, lots of lovely soft fluffy towels, and some games for the family to play.
Really friendly owners, all in all, we really enjoyed it.

Nice relaxed atmosphere with clean newish caravan. Roof leaked slightly after heavy rain though.

Barmston farm is a lovely quiet secluded location. Otter cottage was beautiful and very well equipped. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the surrounding area was packed with things to do and places to go. My kids 11 and 19 loved every minute and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Lovely place to stay, made very welcome on arrival and told about local area and what there was to do. My husband and son enjoyed using the lake for fishing. Very peaceful and relaxed too. We had our 12 year old son and 16 year old daughter and both were happy with area and cottage too. Local pub did lovely meals and was close by too. Bus service in to Hull if you didn't want to drive and retail park with various shops and restaurants such as pizza hut etc about a 5-10 minute drive.

Really nice cottage, great on site fishing in lovely surroundings.
Dairy cottage is very plush, tastefully done out and we had everything we needed. It is slightly away from the rest of the accommodation and is detached which makes it extremely quiet. Only reason we didn't give accommodation a 10 was we found the mattress on the double bed hard and the room needs blackout blinds as the light streams in so we didn't sleep too well. The farmer is very friendly and helpful, the farm itself a delight and my husband enjoyed the fishing lake. Our dog seemed very content too.

Excellent facilities, grounds, location & value for money. We have children ranging from 7-13 & 2 dogs this was a perfect setting, everyone enjoyed the stay and the friendly owners made this a perfect mini break.

We loved it here with all the animals! It was so quiet and peaceful just the break we needed. The cottage was beautiful and had everything in it we could need. The owners were very helpful and advised us where to visit. Our two year old daughter is still talking about our holiday home and when we can go back.
