All breaks for all arrivals
Great stay, just 1 problem boiler packed in on last day, reported it in the morning and heard nothing, still not working when we left that evening, went home smelly due to not having shower.
Caravan was clean and tidy happy with the caravan. Site was to hilly , limited parking and not child friendly
Clean caravan seemed basic for gold+ location brilliant swimming pool small, not much stocked in shop during school holidays too hilly for parents
Holiday was awful. Park was not friendly and very residential. There was no entertainment in the evening and food was extortionate. The caravan was not pleasant we had moths a d cobwebs the fridge smelt and the caravan was musty.
Website warns of a very hilly site but we were not prepared for our caravan to be perched on a bank nine steep steps up without a handrail. We were sited near the bottom of the valley, most of the caravans appear to be owned & residential with fenced gardens so there was no direct way to walk up to the site reception, clubhouse or pool. The steep & narrow twisting roadways were without kerbs or paths & badly signposted so the map we were given was of limited help. As the roadways were only suitable for cars we did not use the site facilities, although there was a small car park opposite the facilities that was full every time we passed. On the plus side as we arrived at our caravan we were greeted warmly by the night manager who resided next door, lovely man, it was quiet & surrounded by trees & wildlife. There were four in our party, when we finally got access to our caravan only the double bed had been made up. On returning to reception I was told the 'put-u-up' bed in the lounge had been made but they shouldn't have assumed it was two couples arriving. Within 15mins housekeeping arrived & made the two single beds in seperate rooms as required.
Great little park for a short break. The outdoor pool is lovely and warm and the park itself is very well kept and tidy. Only thing we did find was walking through the nature trail there does seem to be a lot of irresponsible dog owners who do not pick up their dogs mess. Not very nice when walking with young children.
Staff were pleasant enough, entertainment was not the best but ours had fun with the dances and games.
We found the park a Little isolated and certainly not designed for the elderly, although the surroundings are beautiful.
I don't think this was a holiday park, it was more like a residential site with a few caravans to let.
The caravan we stayed in was good but we felt that there was a lot of owners caravans around us with their dogs barking. The reception staff were very welcoming.
A very crowded park, a caravan in miserabele state, the most worst accomodation we ever had in 20 years England.
I enjoyed my holiday and found the park very accomodating. I did not use the facilities as enjoyed walking the beautiful countryside with my dog.
Was disappointed that the nature trail was shut/blocked by caravans, otherwise everything was ok.
All good thanks
The site was badly signposted and very confusing to say the least.
Can't fault the caravan
