Stayed in a deluxe lodge which had everything you could possibly need for a self-catering holiday including washing machine and dishwasher. The lodge was spotlessly clean and the outdoor hottub was the icing on the cake. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others.
Our first experience of a lodge holiday was at Kippford Holiday Park in November. The park was beautiful and the lodge and hot tub were spacious and luxurious.
Your prices at Blairgowrie are roughly the same as Kippford but the lodges are half the size as is the hot tub. The location is in the middle of a council housing estate and doesn't have the same feel as other parks.
The hot tub maintenance team were intrusive, at Kippford we didn't see or hear anyone but we had the same level of service.
For the price we paid I expected luxury and at best got standard accomodation and service
Ideal place to stay and explore Scotland
Was a really lovely time away. Quaint little village with lots to do, really nice surroundings.
The staff kept meeting on our porch for some reason and the guys maintaining the hot tub were round every hour or two to do tests, we had to get out for them to add chemicals then wait half an hour to get back in then they. Quite inconvenient.
Lovely sarroundings, 15 min walk to town with a good whetherspoons pub, nice walk along river river ericht,
A warm cosy lodge in a beautifully landscaped park. We did have some minor issues - such as finding the lodge from the site map, which was quite inaccurate - and the insistence on providing a credit card number on arriva outsidel in the dark and cold, when we could have sorted it out next morning in the office. However the stay itself was perfect.
Can't emphasise enough how helpful, approachable and nice all the staff where. Nothing was too much for them.
My wife and I both enjoy lodge holidays in peaceful surroundings and Blairgowrie fits the bill perfectly for us. There is also plenty to do in the area within short driving distances, and lovely walking areas in the immediate vicinity as well. We both like the town of Blairgowrie very much, and we always make sure to visit both it and Perth when we are there. We have been to this park on numerous occasions now and it is still our first choice for a holiday destination.
Cabin couldn't be faulted good location clean and tidy hot tub was awesome and well looked after by staff through out our stay will definetley be back
Holiday was great with the girls to celebrate my 30th Birthday. Although neighbours had complained about being 8 of us when there was only 7 of us with one of the girls going back home to Perth early hours in the morning after our night out. Also advised that we were smoking in lodge which was untrue as we were outside. Very poor lighting in area very dark.
Lovely place to stay, very peaceful and quiet.
You need a car if you want to explore the surrounding area
Freezer/fridge wasn't switched on for us arriving, this then took ages to reach desired temperature
My biggest issue was the WIFI, not powerful enough and can only be used by one person. No good for todays technology
