Had an amazing valentines break with my husband. The lodge was beautiful, so comfortable and stylish. We used the hot tub on numerous occasions morning and night !! So relaxing. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had booked dinner for valentines night in tatty bunting their own cafe, which they arranged into a restaurant at night. It really worked and the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend this break to anyone. It will be one that we will never forget.

Well kept site in a very rural location. Good location for train to Oxford. Ok for this reason and a short break but not really a family location. We had a Churchill lodge which was clean and warm but not on the luxury scale of other lodges. Being a family does not mean you don't want a bit more luxury - which the Churchill does not have. Stopped at Finlake in Devon before in a lodge which was more luxurious and better hot tub. Hot tub had remains of previous bubbles added by others guests and the jets were poor - probably needs a good service , there was a leak in the en suite and the outside steps into the lodge had unsafe rotting wood. I reported these at end of 3 night stay as I didn't want repairs taking place during our short stay. Nice staff good site for couples , but just not quite special enough for us.

Peaceful and tranquil the ideal place to get away and although secluded there are plenty of places to visit within short distances. Alternatively you can stay on site and relax in the hot tubs.

Amazing place to stay, from the moment of arrival I felt relaxed. The staff who greeted us were helpful, the food at Tatty Buntings was fabulous. I would definitely book to go back again, and would highly recommend it to others.

2nd Year we have visited these lodges. Lovely quiet surroundings, but near lots of places to visit. Lodges are furnished to a very high standard and immaculate inside and out. Will definitely be returning for a 3rd year. This year we stayed in Blenheim and the year previous Cupids lodge both were of an excellent standard.
