All breaks for all arrivals
we had a really lovely break here the caravan park was pretty basic but it had everything u might need and a good point to travel around from
It was a long drive from Manchester far to much with a little dog we had to make several stops very nice area but won't be going again 0
The park was situated right next to the local gas terminals which we was not expecting. It was a very small park with hardly any facilities and no visible staff.
Lovely stay in really pleasant area with great pub/restaurant a short walk away.
4 of us stayed in an Oyster 8- a bit wobbly as we walked about and complimentary tea and milk would've been a nice touch
where to begin, the holiday park was a building site, no one else other than strange man on there own walking around our caravan, I take it they were builders.
I would not stay there again. when club house and building work is complete I imagine it will be nice for some people but not for us. the caravan that we stayed in was very old and I don't personally feel that even for the price we paid it should never be occupied by holiday makers. the beach was lovely.
thank you hoseasons
poor parking arragements for caravan 15
not an easy access to the beach (down steep wooden steps then a five foot drop)
last minute booking and well worth it. The site has a fantastic cliff top location and the view of the sea is priceless.
The staff were so helpful, we didn't get to the site until after 10pm but are keys were available and we were shown where the caravan was sited. Unpacked the car to the sound of the waves hitting the beach below and awoke to sound and sight of the beach below
Our caravan was clean, warm and very comfortable. the play area for children was well maintained, my 3 year old granddaughter enjoyed playing in it when we wasn't on the beach.
Holiday was very good but caravan was only one on site with no double glazing and heating so dont think it was a superior as advised to us
Went to book in and didnt even have me down on the system for staying there. Women tried to phone people but nobody would answer. No key was available. Then was told was double booked. Then was told somebody was coming. Then was told nobody knew were keys were then someone turned up and then keys turned up after we saw someone come out of unit with dirty washing up. Unit had not been readied for us and wasn't expecting us at all. Worst holiday experience we had ever had.
Our lodge was not particularly clean, the waste bin in the bathroom had not been emptied prior to our arrival ( it contained used sanitary towels!!!!). Cutlery and glasses in the kitchen needed re-washing before use. The view from our 'lodge' was of the Bacton gas site.
Booked caravan 5 hours before arriving. The new Oyster 6 caravan was outstanding for the price and well equipped. Some caravans quite close together but location is perfect to walk on the sandy beach. Small clubhouse with entertainment more than what we expected for the size of the park. Our children loved the magician! Only downfall is the amusement machines, children's park and shop need a little attention. Park very easy to find on beach front. The owner Anna and family works extremely hard to ensure every visitor is happy and settled. Very friendly and bubbly. Cromer pier 25 minutes drive from park. Would recommend staying for a short break as it's not too far to visit Cromer.
One of the best caravans I have stayed in to date.
An oyster caravan is definitely worth paying the extra money, as it is more luxury and having stayed in a lower grade one you really notice the difference, hence the saying you pay for what you get.
Generally clean and comfortable despite staying in accommodation which catered for pets
