All breaks for all arrivals
Don't get me wrong it's set in the country side so it's nice but it's just too out of the way for things to do. Best caravan we've ever stayed in though. The site could be improved as the ground was treacherous to walk on. Pot holes everywhere. The bistro as they call it was a small pub like room. Food was ok. I wouldn't recommend taking children there as there's nothing to do apart from a small park. Staff were really helpful though. Me and my husband couldn't believe how expensive the food was in the area. I don't think we will be holidaying in this area again. It was a nice break though.
Lovely quiet park, brilliantly helpful staff. Was a pleasure to stay there. Would stay there again
we were looking for a quiet park inland,,this park was perfect as a base to work from within easy reach of many attractions. the evening meals were superb, although we had opted for self catering..a better stocked shop would have been an asset,,however local farmshops filled the gap,, the view across the EXE river towards dartmoor was outstanding(from a nearby hill)
We had a fantastic holiday.
Thanks to all the staff.
Beautiful park and wonderful friendly staff a very enjoyable holiday .
This is a very quiet and very friendly holiday park between Exeter and Exmouth. It´s close to the shops and beach but far enough away to be very quiet.
I stayed a week and enjoyed every day.
I would stay here again if I was on holiday again in this part of the Country
There was a strange smell in one of the cupboards but we put that down to being early in the season. We did not feel it was neccessary to notify the reception staff as it was gone after a coiple of days with the door left open. The site could do with more bins around the place. Other than that the staff were pleasant and helpful and the bistro was excellant. The Site is well kept and nice and quiet.
A quiet peaceful retreat to return too after a long day out.
Not the first time we have been but its not the last ether! Have family that live in exmouth so we are down alot castle break is a great caravan park. Only down fall is that the onsite bar is closed on a sunday other than that you cant fault anything from location to staff the caravans they have etc amazing park.
It was a very nice site and relaxing holiday, but would prefer a bit nicer caravan next time, radiator was rusty in the bedroom toilet which really didn't look very pleasant, could have done with a good clean, we told them about the caravan wobbling rather a lot and this was going to be looked at, other than that we had a great time and would go back
It was quite but conveniently located.
There was not a lot of upfront information but questions were answered fully just a shame we had to ask.
The food in the bar was good.
Fabulous caravan park, very clean caravans and had ensuite. The location suited us but a bit out of the way, 15-20 mins drive but makes it quiet and beautiful sky at night.
Lovely site - have stayed here many times over the years. Great location close to beautiful coastline but in a nice quiet area
very nice camp and area .dogs loved it too.
Lovely site. Nice views of Exeter and Dartmoor in distance. Beaytiful open heathland with footpaths and cycle tracks at top of hill 500yds above site. Only 20 min by car to Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton. Large clean caravan. friendly helpful professional staff. Excellent all round.
