All breaks for all arrivals
Pretty location, but very hilly.Close to the beach and shops.Club house very limited, but ideal base for exploring area.
Very quite park and close too, beaches. Beautiful part of the world although it rained for most of our stay :(
Very clean and tidy caravan, and fantastic value for money. Great location.
The area is lovely and the locals made us feeling welcome. Especially everyone in the dolphin inn, which is only round the corner from where we had stayed. Beach is clean and nice too. There is loads to do near as well that's good for kids such as watermouth castle and wildlife & dinosaur park.
The caravan was tired , the parking was difficult to say the least and the turning point was blocked by a camper van , the site was in a perfect place , there was no where outside the caravan to sit and have a relax , the road the caravan was on had a fence then a cliff , the caravan was clean and tidy when we arrived which was nice .
The park is in nice surroundings with good views unfortunately the caravan we were in was old and smelt of dog urine and had rust on the fridge . The entertainment was non existent the pool was closed most of our stay. It's a shame with the position of the park it could be excellent.
The park is situated in a good position , with great views, The staff were very helpful and did offer us alternate accommodation. Once we had swapped our Chalet for a caravan we had a great time.
When we turned up to our bronze chalet we were seriously disappointed! It was old and smelly........it smelt of quavers and beer! It's outside appearance was no better it was the old single pained glass floor to ceiling windows (very cold) and the paintwork was crumbling away! So we spoke to the management and they moved us to a bronze caravan which was very small for five of us (it sleeps 6) but it was clean and didn't smell so we took it. We went to the pub/clubhouse/main reception on our first evening where we walked into a dated old room with the most outstanding view! We ordered food from chefs corner a little take away place in the corner of the pub and waited nearly 2 hours for our food! The staff were polite and curtious but the food that turned up was substandard and the polystyrene container had huge holes burnt in the bottom of it! We didn't go there again on our holiday of five days!!! The pool area was shabbyg to say the least..... My daughter kept passing me loose tiles off of the bottom of the pool so they didn't keep hurting her feet! The paving was uneven in places to the point that you had to watch your step so that you didn't stub your toe! But the view from the pool was amazing and the life guard was polite and kind! If the park upped its standards, with the location its in (couple minutes walk from the beach) it could have been nice. We will not be revisiting.
whoud not stay again
Lovely place would definately stay again. Beautiful surroundings. Clean and staff lovely and friendly.
The site is ok. Our chalet was situated on the hill overlooking the house. We did not have an allocated parking space which was a problem when it was raining as we had to park quite a way from our chalet. The chalet itself was clean. It was classed as bronze so I wasn't expecting much. The problem with these chalets, and I've stayed in a few, is that bronze doesn't mean that it is basic, it means it is badly maintained. This one had a double glazed window and door. The other windows were badly fitted wooden ones that let in the wind. There was a massive crack in the wall by the bath. The shower is in the bath so if you are an older person it's very awkward. The floor creaked and I was invaded by tiny spiders one night. Cheap though, so you get what you pay for. It's the reason why a lot of people save up and go abroad. Shame really because the price is good, and more people could be attracted if the accommodation wasn't like Hi De Hi.
Great will definitely stay again
We were lucky enough to have been up graded to a silver caravan. Unfortunately we found that the heating in our room wasn't working and the main light was out, but we had other lights in our room was, so as we were only there for a couple of days we put up with it.
The views were lovely and we had a lovely time.
Nice place, accommodation a bit dated. To hilly for us!!
Combe martin holiday park is on a very nice location with local shop and bus stop. Staff are well behaved but when you need them they are not available. Because of staff shortage. Restaurant is really nice. Food prices also ok. Holiday park is congusted but tidy.
