Overall the log cabin itself was fantastic. There was very little to do in the surrounding area. We only once saw a member of staff and that was when we were told to turn our music off (it was only 11pm). The wifi was non existent.
As I said before, the cabin was lovely and we'll maintained.
I would stay back at conifer lodges as the price was very reasonable.
Peaceful and relaxing. Great weekend.
Lovely park would recommend it friendly staff quiet and peaceful
The location is great and surroundings beautiful.
This is our second visit and I am sure we will return again
Wi-fi is free but can be slow
Really wanted to give this place 10 out of 10 but poor WIFI accessibility brought the rating down to a 7/10 and also the lodge did not have a cheese grater which I think is a basic piece of kitchen equipment. Will stay again but will be a 2nd or 3rd choice until they improve the internet connection.
Beautiful location and surroundings. Will definitely go again.
Had a great time, however a little disappointed on arrival at the state the decking was in. It had rubbish from the previous occupants, but also was covered in cigerette ash, but overall was nice a clean inside.
Great area with loads to do in and around the area and Newton Stewart was a nice little town.
Just a few small things would have made it really good, 1. The decking and even the steps into the hot tub were covered in cigarette ash, would have taken 5 mins to clean before we got there, 2. There was one toilet roll between 4 of us for a week sounds petty but having to go and buy toilet roll when on holiday is not right, 3. The lights on the outside decking were missing so was really dark getting from hot tub back to cabin, it was really nice but it's the small things that make people come back even at checkout on the Friday morning you have to be out by 10 but the reception wasn't manned and everyone was standing around waiting.
Quiet, peaceful site.
The town is only 5 minutes away with plenty of small shops and a choice of 2 supermarkets that both stock plenty of Scottish products in addition to the usual fare so we wanted for nothing.
Lovely lodge in beautiful surroundings, loads to do within 30 minute drive of park. Staff are great really helpful and let you get on with your holiday. Dog friendly
Lovely lodge, very comfortable and everything you need in the kitchen
Surroundings need to be much better landscaped to improve privacy for when you are in the hot tub. Needs more trees, bushes etc as little care appears to have gone into this. Lovely area but no onsite shop.
A very nice small development with very comfortable and well appointed lodges. Staff were friendly and helpful and the grounds were clean and well cared for. Easy walking distance from Newton Stewart. Will try to come again.
Loved whole time away glorious surrounding area, will definitely go back.
Lovely, quiet, clean and relaxing. We had a great time.
