Very nice lodges, let down by 2 points. 1. The television is very small 2. No WiFi in the cabins and a VERY SLOW Vodafone data connection. That said, the cabin is excellent and the food at the golf club is very good. I have already booked again.
Easy to find and ample parking, staff were friendly and helpful on arrival.
Surroundings were idyllic!
Couldn't fault the lodge, it was beautiful.
Would've been nice to have more to do on site but, it wasn't too far into town etc.
Our neighbours were loud until early hours and this was dealt with in a timely, professional manner.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you
Had a really good long weekend away. Was lovely views. Nice and relaxing!
Good location but felt a bit strange being so close to a golf fairway
Hot Tubs seem to encourage late night noise and drinking! There seemed to be no reminders about consideration towards neighbours
Place was nice. could have done with a dust around the cabin walls. Couldn't use the hot tub on the third day as it became very smelly - was not checked at all throughout our weekend stay
Beautiful location and very quite but still close enough to amenities. Log cabins are modern and clean but beds are VERY HARD and did affect all of our nights sleep.
We had a fantastic time the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful
Would not recommend for kids
This was a lovely peaceful location, within easy reach of the M5, ideal for a short break. My teenage son really loved the driving range, even though he had never picked up a golf club in his life. Ideal for couples and families with older children who don't necessarily want parks and lots of small children running around playing football. The bar/ restaurant was lovely and prices were reasonable. The first lodge we were allocated had a broken shower, but we were moved within 30 minutes with no problem. We would definitely go back for a short break.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here facilities and lodge was excellent. The reason is that we won't go back to the Dartmoor lodges is that we don't return to a place we have already been. We like to experience new places and areas.
Great lodge, great location, just a few tatty its in the lodge itself (lightbulbs not working, seals around bath missing / shower hose falling apart, kitchen cupboards wonky, dusty walls!) but its very functional and perfect, great view over the golf course. maybe another oven shelf would be useful? But very comfy and clean. I would stay again
Cabin was lovely, big and had a great view for the sunsets. Great location for exploring North or South.
More information on local area such as walks (where to park for trails). Just out of season so not tourist information open.
General cabin and rest of site was clean but could have had a better deep clean i.e. Shower head, dust by bed headboard.
Would stay here again but would need to do more research on surrounding areas and walking trails.
Was the perfect lodge to go to, for my birthday break.
Great location overlooking golf course.Lodge spacious and tidy.Hot tub great but could do with canopy.
