We enjoyed our stay at Dean Steep. The accommodation was well equipped and comfortable. The owners were very helpful and the views across the valley was pleasant. There were plenty of places to visit nearby and Dean Steep was centrally placed being just outside and above Lynton for walking and cycling in the area. The site was small and very quiet. Unfortunately we could not book the weather during our stay. We would return again.
A very relaxing holiday,in beautiful surroundings. The bungalow was very comfortable, with everything we needed. Theresa and Richard were very knowlegable of the local area, very helpful and very friendly.
The views of surrounding countryside are excellent and a super location to tour Exmoor
Our stay here was great and very comfy the owners could not enough for you if you ask them for any info they went found out for five star service for very nice people
Dean steep was in a lovely spot. The views were great. The accomodation was clean and tidy. The new owners are nice.
Fantastic location - so glad we found this little gem. Huge field for the dogs to run in, comfortable bungalow and fantastic time was had - just a shame you can't pre-book good weather!!!
Enjoyed our stay
A lovely place to stay if you need a lot of peace and quiet mixed in with a lot of walking and great views.
Not a place to stay if you have no transport though.
Lovely place, the views outstanding. Bit too far out from anything, having to pay for electric even though it was a very expensive stay. The man who owns it was very helpful
Richard and Teresa were great hosts and on hand if needed, but you probably wont need them. On arrival we found a selection of tea and coffee in the cottage as well as a few home made cakes. There are fantastic views across Exmoor from the picture window of the cottage we stayed in and it's a great place to explore from, on foot or by car. Its a lovely, quiet relaxing site.
Clean and comfortable accommodation in beautiful and convenient location.
The best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean throughout. Comfortable beds. Very well equipped. Helpful and pleasant owners where nothing is too much trouble. Pretty gardens with picnic tables and on site washing machines, iron etc, toys for children, books and dvds to borrow, lots of maps and places to visit. 2 large fields for dog walking. Excellent holiday.
Fantastic area. Accommodation was clean and well equipped. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was very slow wifi. We were able to walk to Lynton from the site, a good long walk but very enjoyable with lovely views of the sea. Would recommend.
Staff very helpful and friendly but too many dogs around. If not a dog lover best to avoid this one.
