Had a really nice stay - a few elements of the property need updating (bathroom light switch needs rewired, spa bath didn't work) but overall a really nice property, very comfortable for my wife, baby and myself.

The lodge was lovely, well equipped and made even better by the wood burning stove and sauna. The only slight flaw we had was that there were three of us staying in the lodge but only enough bed covers for two so we had to squeeze our son in beside us. Otherwise it was great.

sofa was very poor, new one required.

Only very small complaint sofa bed and bed could do with replacing but really this was only issue with the entire place.

Gadgirth lodge we had was a lovely lodge and well cleaned only short of a tin opener but lodge had everything we required and o' the fire was lovely. Only the three lodges and we had the biggest one but the large area out in front was the only place for the dog so headed out to Ayr beach each day and the dog loved that, although not much place to walk we had a lovely time and would go back.

Nice setting, great for dogs in the walled garden. Liked the log fire.
No tin opener or dustpan in the chalet. New cushions needed on sofas. This would have helped.
Overall good chalet and I would recommend it to others.

Didn't see any staff and tried to call twice at check in time but didn't receive an answer. Lodge was freezing. The log fire helped a bit but I'm not in the habit of lighting log fires so to be left 3 matches when it's blowing a gale isn't ideal. The lodge was very nice and well equipped but only really slept in it. Asda, frankie and bennys, Pizza Hut etc all are a 10 minute drive away. I would recommend ayr India at the seafront. Oh and u can't park outside your lodge which is not ideal for disabled people, when it's raining, getting luggage to your lodge or even just keeping an eye on your car.
An idyllic location, perfect if you want to get away from it all for some peace and relaxation.

The ultimate in relaxation! Don't go here if you are looking for anything to do! The lodges look nice from outside but inside they are beautiful. Really unexpected for the price paid. Will hopefully be back soon. Sauna was amazing. Great for kids (toddler was safe in grounds and loved the warm and cosy lodge). Really recommend this place-didn't want to leave!
1 never seen any staff
2 could have been a bit cleaner few cobwebs
3 no phone signal or wifi..

Rich, luscious countryside and glorious long sandy beaches, superlative golf courses and an exciting, vibrant city – enjoy all this and so much more when you stay at our holiday parks in Ayrshire. Birthplace of Open Golf, and home to championship courses at Troon and Turnberry, this is a golfers’ paradise, but there’s something for everyone taking caravan holidays in Ayrshire.Steeped in the history of great Scottish heroes, this is also Burns Country – head to the Burns National Heritage Park to see the little thatched ‘But and Ben’ where Scotland’s national bard was born and brought up. The Museum of Ayrshire Country Life and Costume at Dalgarven Mill also makes a fascinating trip as does magnificent Culzean Castle. Designed by Robert Adams, it sits within glorious grounds on a cliff top overlooking the Clyde.Along the coast, and within easy reach of our holiday parks in Ayrshire, you’ll find glorious sandy beaches and delightful seaside towns and villages to visit, including Ayr, birthplace of Robert the Bruce, and the pretty Victorian resort of Largs, from where you can take a ferry to explore the lovely Isle of Arran. And don’t forget, it’s easy to spend a day shopping and enjoying the sights in Glasgow.
