Great park and location
Appartment could do with an upgrade
The camp was clean and well equipped but it was over priced and I had two disappointed children when they couldn't do everything, the apartment was spotless and was in a lovely setting but the beds were that uncomfortable we left 2 days early to get some sleep
The park was fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We stayed in a comfort plus apartment and the accommodation and decor could and should be improved even though it was the basic accommodation we paid for, it was disappointing. If you are going to provide a bathroom without a bath, at least ensure the shower is practical (It wasn't! !). But in saying all that, there was so much to do, we wee hardly im the accomodation anyway!! The main restaurant was ok (Mash n Barrel) although the menu wasn't the most varied to say it was the only restaurant in the whole park. These were minor niggles and didn't spoil our week's holiday to say the least. The holiday totally exceeded our expectations and roll on our next visit....
Great location with plenty to do in surrounding area. Shops on-site were reasonably priced and well stocked, bigger supermarkets just a short drive away. The beach was an absolute bonus with lovely clear water and plenty of rock pools to explore, well worth the walk from the Park. There were plenty of fast-food outlets onsite although one evening we waited 40 minutes for our fish and chips. There were plenty of "extra" pool activities programmed so we were always able to access what we wanted - the kids particularly enjoyed the Aquajets.
Cannot fault the helpfulness of the staff throughout the park, however the Waiting staff in the restaurant were always rushed off their feet meaning long waits for food!
The location was great with some breathtaking views of the mountains from the beach and the family liked the aerial runway and mini-golf.
However the biggest criticism is the comfortableness of the beds in our room. The mattresses were some of the worst I have ever slept on and by the end of the week I could hardly walk due to the state of my back. Why would you charge people to stay in this park without investing in proper beds? The state of the mattresses spoilt what, otherwise, could have been a thoroughly enjoyable stay and this is the reason why my family and I would not return!
The site had interesting and lively things to do. It was clean and was well maintained. The staff were polite and friendly. The activities were expensive, and although there was bundles to purchase they were still on the dear side. The evening entertainment was okay, but the size of the venue was not big enough and on a number of occasions we had to stand and could not find seats, we also noticed people leaving because of this, and acts that were advertised were not always on. would, and have recommended the site.
Everything about this resort is great
Food far to expensive for the variety especially. If the food was cheaper then value for money would be a 10.
It was a fabulous park lots to do exceedee expectations. Would visit again.
Lovely place for a family holiday beautiful scenary and very close to beaçh. Downside was activities expensive, had to pay for wifi, and apartme t standard plus very very basic apartment which was a little run down. We overlooked the bad bits and got on with our holiday staff lovely pool great location fab. Mash n barrel great meals. Handy man was very helpful.
Enjoyed the holiday.
The comfort apartment wasn't very clean - still had beans stains on the table.
Some activities were expensive.
Brilliant holiday. The food in Mash and Barrel excellent...especially fish and chips. Bar staff very noisy from 10.30pm around Cambrian area.. but apart from that nothing to moan about. Going back next year..already booked. My Grandson was crying when he left. He wanted to stay longer. We got an upgrade to a retreat caravan from an apartment. It was stunning. Balcony on it so children fully safe.
Fantastic site with loads to do. We had a great few days here and have already booked to go back in a few weeks time.
Very clean and well maintained park with fantastic activities for the children. Great location next to a super beach. My only grumble is that the apartment living area and kitchen, although spotless, was too small for four adults and 2 children.
Had a brilliant time. Weather wasn't great so we got chance to explore all of the site rather than just the beach.
Marked down 1 point on facilities just because the apartment wasn't that pretty but it had everything we needed.
