The mattress wasn't very comfy. No heating in bathroom. Oven tool to long to cook food.but everything else was spot on.

Few issues with the cabin.... The stand for hot tub lid was missing, so we had to pull it off and rest it on the side. One outside light didn't work at all and the other was so dirty light couldn't shine through, so made using the outside space after dark quite difficult. Hot tub wasn't ready on the first night, staff hadn't been informed it had been drained and cleaned. We were told it would take 8/10 hrs to heat up (was more like 14/16 if the time on hot tube check was correct) cabin was clean but there were a few issues (stains or marks on every sofa cushion, vinyl on fridge had warped and was the first thing we noticed when we walked in, one wardrobe had mold inside and the other the vinyl on front damaged and broken) just needed a bit of maintenance and tlc

We had a waterside caibin with a hot tub and was more expensive than we would normally pay. The cabin was clean on arrival and not badly equipped. You do need to take your own towels and tea towels, washing up liquid etc. The general overall size was ok however the twin room is tiny and my two girls (11 &15) struggled standing up in there at the same time without elbowing each other and the beds seemed small. The beds were made up although I would like to have seen mattress protectors on the beds ( feed back given to Hengar manor).

We were fortunate to be at the end of the row, so had extra privacy. The hot tub was well maintained and enjoyable. The sun umbrella was unusable and thrown under the balcony. Overall cleanliness was very poor - mould in the shower, dirt,dust and food debris under the sofas, mattresses and pillows badly stained. Mattress on double bed was in poor condition. Car park was small, for most of the holiday there was a large pot hole at the entrance, this was only filled in a couple of days before we left, we stayed for 2 weeks.

The cabin smelt awful when we arrived, so all windows and doors had to be opened. I am glad I came prepared with Flash Bleach and air freshener. I had to clean the entire kitchen and clean the floor. Bathroom had a strange strong odour and radiator on full power (outside temperature was 25 degrees) had to get someone from maintenance to turn heating off and to unlock patio doors.
