It is very apparent that the holiday park and it's accommodation is going through a programme of upgrading, unfortunately we stayed in a studio apartment that had not been upgraded. To list just a few gripes.... the bathroom window had numerous cobwebs on them, the bathtub had cobwebs in it, the bath cold water tap came off in your hand, the toilet brush had cobwebs on it, the toilet brush had faeces on it, one of the toilet seat bracket covers was missing exposing the rusty fittings, the toilet seat had, albeit a small amount, faeces on it, the toilet flush handle came out of it's holding when you used it, the towel holder was hanging off the wall, there was an iron burn on the lounge carpet, I couldn't make out what all the other marks and stains were, there was a thick layer of dust on the top of the television, the bed was far from comfortable, however I have paid more on holidays and had more uncomfortable beds, the room furnishings were all, with the exception of the sofa, well past their best and a little grubby, the fridge did not have a handle on it, the front door lock receptacle was missing so only shut and locked into the wooden door jam, the door handle was barley secure and you had to push the screws back into the wood each time you used it.
On a more positive note.... There was always hot water, the bed linen and covers were clean, it was a nice view.
To be fair, this was a last minute booking and it was relatively cheap, we were only using the accommodation as a place to get our heads down so it didn't impact too much on our overall holiday enjoyment and never felt the need to complain. I'm sure my review would have been more positive had we been placed in an upgraded apartment.
