All breaks for all arrivals
We stayed here primarily in order to take our dog which was good for her but very cut off as there was no wifi no mobile signal and we only spoke to one person the whole week. If quiet and remote is what you are after then this is definitely for you. We did find a lovely pub "the Splash" as short drive away which was very nice and dined in the lovely gardens there.
Amazing, relaxing ,spotless, warm, value for money everything we wanted from a holiday and more besides.
Overall very good but was very disappointed with the external appearance of our log cabin number 60 looked very tired and in need of a good paint up
We have visited twice and as a family we have all agreed that it is second to none
Had a great weekend at Kenwick Wood Lodges. We were really impressed with the lodge itself, lots of space for 6 people - it didn't feel cramped at all. The only negative that I can say about the place is the speed bumps on the driveway - with a car full of people, it scraped the car on each and every one! We didn't use the facilities at the hotel but in terms of the lodge, it has everything that you need in it. I would definitely recommend this place and would return again.
lovely surroundings, quiet and peaceful.
lodges clean and comfortable
Absolutely lovely especially for the money we paid. Weren't very much entertainment but very relaxing. Me and family are already planning our next visit for summer would definitely recommend
I stayed in one of the Maple Lodges - number 35. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Had all the facilities I needed plus more, even had a dishwasher. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing winter break.
Lookout for the small freezer hidden away in the utility cupboard. This is where the iron and ironing board are with dustpan etc. Also in here were some books, games and visitor information.
One piece of feedback - the floor coverings in the kitchen area and bathrooms were not of the high standard of the rest of the lodge decor.
fantastic weekend with the girls for my 50th birthday. lodges absolutely beautiful
Part of the place were not open still due to fire damage
Some of my pots were dirty. The shower leaked. Had no electric first thing on Christmas Eve as there was a electric problem.
Facilities score is probably irrelevant due to a recent fire in the leisure club - this would normally score 9
we had a lovely few days, ashame about the fire destroying facilities
The road to the lodge needs some serious attention. Due to the fire there were no facilities.
It didn't seem fair that a free shuttle bus is provided at weekends between the lodge and hotel when eating there and not at a weekday (people do holiday in the week and we spent a considerable amount of money in the hotel, then required a £7 taxi back to the lodge when on weekends this is free?)
superb facilities and lodge well appointed. Had a lovely relaxing holiday
