Everything was outstanding and the staff went beyound helpfullness. This a must place to stay and the surrounding where stunning. Unfortunately we went at Christmas and many things were not open but it didnt make any difference we had such a wonderful time. If you can go its a must. Peacful Tranquil beautiful stunnging and relacing beyound belief.

Really really dissapointed that we were not told at time of booking that the pub was only opened on 31st we had arranged people to come and visit us we had planned on pub lunch....also no where to go for a coffee...lots of people said same....shop was a joke ....selling xmas decos but no real food things??? Plzzzz

Excellent, even for one getting a little too old for the athletic acivities it was nice to get away from it all . Going for a stroll around and spending time in the out side hot tub. Going to the observatory was very interesting even for a non star gazer like myself.

We were booked in for four nights but has initially only planned to stay for 2 nights. The quality of teh accomodation and the general ambiance of the area persuaded us to stay an extra night

We stayed at kielder lodges in November, the lodges were very warm and had everything you needed. The bath robes and slippers were a lovely touch. The hot tub was huge and secluded and had decking and furniture it would be great in the warmer weather. The on site pool was on the small side that would be my only criticism. .

Something which would have improved our experience would have been the provision of a vacuum cleaner for us to maintain the excellent standard of cleanliness, and perhaps a wider selection of groceries in the shop. Otherwise our holiday was perfect!!
