Quiet location very relaxing.
Had our family including grandchildren who loved the fact that they could walk across the road to the stones on the beach, even although it was a winter break we still went out and about enjoying the scenery.
Fabulous enjoyable and relaxing holiday
Very quiet on site and in area even though last week of August. Lodge was nice and clean. Bit limited on cutlery (only 4 of anything) but managed OK. Shame that no dogs allowed signs (even on leads) on the cost path adjacent to site limited walking options.
Beautiful location with stunning views. Very comfortable lodge. If you are lucky with the weather its a little slice of heaven, especially if you like the quiet life.
There was nothing around you could walk to if you didn't have a car, the shop wasn't well stocked.
Disappointed that the beach you described at the site was not sandy and not suitable for our two young grandchildren to play. Also childrens' play area on site was tiny and no ball games were allowed anywhere in the park ! Hardly a family park suitable for small children as described by you.
Beautiful park with views out to sea.
A thoroughly relaxing experience.
Good holiday and cottage accommodation good. Perhaps reception area could be painted.
The Lodge was very clean & tidy.
An excellent location for a relaxing holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would return to this holiday park.
The only reason the location & surroundings score is slightly lower than the others is because it is very remote with few site amenities and though this was not a problem for us, it might be for some people.
A most peaceful, relaxing location, ideal for the 2 of us and the dog but we were really lucky with the weather. Best to stock up on provisions prior to arrival though as 5 miles to nearest shop, further to supermarket. On site shop very basic but they ordered in a daily newspaper for us which was a really nice touch. Panicked initially as no mobile phone coverage for our networks but after a day it was wonderful as we were able to relax as not able to be constantly checking for messages!
We loved the fairly remote location.
The accommodation was very good, staff were happy to help.
A lovely holiday and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
