Park in nice quiet location away from the local beach/pubs/restaurants/shops etc. so needed to use car more than wanted to. Park manager did not recommend walking on main road (60mph, no pavements/lighting). Unfortunately our stay was a wet one and couldn't use path from site as steep and muddy.
Dismal place, no facilities at all. Not particularly clean. Staff were unhelpful. We had flea bites from staying in a caravan used by pets.
Set in fantastic location. Well kept accomodation. Ample parking. Short walk from beach. Only negative was the public footpath leading from site to Coombe Martin was slippy. Staff friendly and helpful.
A lovely peaceful location. The views were stunning. The caravans were well equipped and comfortable. The only downfall being there was no shop on site.
We had a lovely break caravans was good condition and very clean. The site was in a great location
Had a fab holiday, will definitely be back.
We liked the quiet secluded park but we did not receive any information following our booking, other than confirmation of payment. Recycling facilities were inadequate and difficult to access
exactly the type of holiday place we wanted. nice and quiet and near lots of locations to visit.
Lovely setting with some great views. Clean accommodation and helpful staff. Would definitely go back.
nice holiday park - don`t tend to stay in the same place twice
We actually stayed in Log Cabin 3. It was very clean and tidy when we arrived, lovely serene co-ordinating colour scheme. it has beautiful views in one direction into the valley and to the coast in the other direction. It was perfectly placed for a short walk into Combe Martin and for short drives via the coast roads to either Ilfracombe or Woolacombe. A great pub in the village with lovely food. a couple of small food shops for essentials, with a Tesco not too many minutes away in the car. Manleigh Park was not as big as we thought it would be, phone signal in cabins is non existent, but you can log into wifi in the reception, which unfortunately was a cold dark room and you wouldn't want to sit there for long if you had business to do on your pc. There was a small play park for small children which unfortunately was closed off on our visit. We feel that the park isnt set out or geared up for families with young or even older children. Just one other thing i would like to mention is that i had to purchase a saucepan from the supermarket to use for the week we were there as the 3 in the cupboard had scratched up teflon, burnt on the bottom and we just didnt fancy cooking our food in them. For the money you pay, you would expect them to be nice!
Absolutely loved this place, will definitely stay again
we liked combe martin, and ejoyed many walks on the coastal paths, a most enjoyable holiday.
We returned to Manleigh Park this year and were not disappointed. This time, we took our dogs and the caravan we hired had enclosed decking allowing the dogs to be outside but still contained. The staff were great when we had a problem with our gas supply. Cannot recommend highly enough!
Nice holiday park , very small compared to the usual but nice and quiet. 5 mins drive from the nearest village. Caravan was quite nice and with a good elevated patio area.
