This caravan is very old and tired and needs a revamp. You couldn't really cook in there due to the lack of utensils and pans. Those that were supplied were in a sorry state. The sofas were all grubby and had a couple of tears in. The caravan itself smelt musty and I had to go out and buy a few air fresheners. My daughter was also bitten to death in one of the rooms so we stopped using it part way through the week.

On arrival the girls were very helpful. Our caravan wasn't ready when we arrived, but as we were with my parents who had also got a caravan, we was asked to go to theirs with them and the girl would bring the keys as soon as possible. She came with the keys before we'd even arrived at my parents caravan with full apologies and directed us in the right direction. The caravan had quite a strong smell which soon disappeared when we opened the windows. However the toilet had a damp, sewage smell which was there all the holiday. Some of the windows didn't shut properly and the carpet in the living area had 2 bad wear holes. The mattress wasn't very comfortable. We liked how the beds were made when we got there, meaning we could get out and about quicker. The caravan was ok, but expensive compared to some of the other sites.

Worse holiday park I have ever visited in almost 40 years of holidays. Mobile home dirty and missing normal utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. Wafer thin mattresses. Just spring and outer cover. No comfort at all. Noisy park all night and staff very dismissive of problems.

Though you expect a Bronze caravan to be tired this was let down by cleanliness - the kitchen area floor was filthy and we had to clean it. We had maintenance out on arriving as the boiler was off and though used to starting them as one nob was on the floor? felt best get some one to it. Even when sorted it still cut out several times a day, usually when someone showered or ran water for washing up.
Cleanliness also was let down by a dirty towel/rag and waste paper in the changing room (Ladies) behind the door for the 5 days we where there. On our 5th day we informed reception, who advised the manager - 4 hours later it was still there.
Oh and there was a fight in the family club on our first night! No security in sight - in fact where not on duty. Shame as most of the staff where friendly and helpful.

Nice and spacious holiday caravan. Got an old tv in the lounge could have been updated. Only one entrance door that opens and closes. Minor faults with aging caravan. Very few utensil. Still I would recommend to friends.

Caravan very dated , have stayed in better for less money, also the location of the park is terrible , right by what looks like an industrial estate and housing estate .

Caravan was dirty when we got there the kitchen tap wouldnt turn off electrics kept tripping when toaster was in use, toaster was replaced three times and kept having same issue. windows and back door wouldnt close fully no had rail on the steps to get in the caravan holiday park were aware i am disabled no parking near the caravan. we barley had enough plates an cups we had to go out and bye plastic glasses as the ones in the caravan were filthy lip marks and finger prints on all glasses the lamp shade in the living area was broken with a sharp edge as a friend who is over 6 ft stood up he nearly hit his head on it

I would recommend staying in a bronze in the colder months, we stayed in April and were so cold, it made the stay uncomfortable.
The morning were the worst, very cold.

This is the worst caravan park I,ve ever had stayed. Changed 3 caravans in 3 nights stay.
Caravan1 : No hot water
Caravan 2: No hot water
Caravan 3 : No hot water, no gas, no electricity, no kitchen utensils etc..
Very rude staffs.
They want their customers to carry the TV, microwave, kitchen utensils , Beddings ect.. which they have to make ready before arrival.
Rating : Unacceptable -- Very very poor

Didn't enjoy it at all. There was a nasty smell in the caravan and bed was very uncomfortable that I couldn't wait to go back home. Will not stay at marine park again.

Park was great and the people were super friendly.... Rhyl unfortunately looks like its in shut down and so much was closed... the accommodation was the biggest disappoint though

I had read lots of negative reviews about Marine park, but I have to say I had a really good time. The plus points the park was spotless and the staff where polite friendly and nothing was a problem. The only small thing I would say which the park could improve is the lifeguards need to not play with there phones on poolside. But this is meant as a constructive comment not a criticism. Overall we had a fantastic time😏

Our caravan was lovely, but unfortunately the pool complex, especially the changing area, really let the site down. The showers were blocked and full of hair. The changing cubicles were flooded and smelt of urine, and the whole area needed a clean. We did speak to staff about it, and they appeared to try and clear the blockages, but a few days later the issues were still the same. Very poor.
Overall it is a nice caravan park, but does have few issues it's not a very clean, the site cash machine charges for cash withdrawal, the caravan I stayed in was very dated and a considerable distance away from the club house.
Confirmed guest, 2015-10-26
Although it was still in season, the main club did not open on the Sunday night as the bar staff advised that there was not enough people on site. The only fish and chip bar (place to eat on site) was also closed on the Sunday without notice. This is not our problem when we have paid for the facilities shown in the brochure.
The shop stated it was open until late and when we enquired on the Saturday what time it would close in the evenings, we was told around 10 - 11 pm.
So after realising we had no entertainment or place to get food on Sunday, we went to the shop at around 8pm to find it closed.
The worst holiday we have had ever. Will not be returning or recommending the site to anyone.

Lovely caravan but quite isolated away from anywhere. You really need a car. The caravan a bronze was amazing though - you could actually live in it. It was lovely.

Very clean caravan. Bed a little hard. Fantastic fish n chip shop on site. Club a little small and found drinks rather expensive (just under £10 for a Guinness, a cider and a child's fruit drink in a bottle) Swimming pool and cafe not open long enough. Overall, nice site. Good base. Would stay again.
Holiday was tarnished within half an hour of getting in the caravan. I tried to have a shower but couldn't get any hot water. The boiler just needed turning up but while in the cupboard I noticed black, sooty marks around the pilot light. On checking the gas inspection certificate I found it had expired 3 months earlier. I phoned reception who told me it had been done but the certificate hadn't been put up. They would come round and put one up straight away. While waiting I tested both carbon monoxide detectors in the caravan but only worked. I left it an hour but nothing..... Later I asked in reception and a lady tried to show me proof on a computer of the test but she could have been showing me her pet dogs medical records for all the sense it made. Anyway she said that the best they could do would be in the morning if that was OK. I told her it would be if I was still alive... I explained about the carbon monoxide detectors and the lady continued with her amazing talent of making me feel stupid while reporting a serious health and safety issue. She assured me that there is only one in the caravan and the other must be something else. I told her that I can read and left. Next morning we didn't just get a visit but a full gas safety inspection, which was back dated to June.....This had more than a slight suggestion of Marine covering up something that had never been done!!!! Apart from this the caravan park has some good facilities. Good club area and bar. Swimming pool is good apart from the changing rooms, which the showers seem to drain into.... Has a nice cafe next to the pool but the park has no restaurant. The park location is hard to get used to, bearing in mind it is between a timber yard and a grotty housing estate. Not exactly scenic, nor do you feel like you are in a seaside resort....

Worst place I've ever stayed!!!!
Very noisy people playing music and shouting till 4am not impressed as we had our grandchildren with us we cut our trip short and checked out on Sunday instead of Monday
The park is supposed to be dog friendly but you can't take your dog anywhere! There is nothing close by that you can walk too! Overall our caravan was shabby the only good thing was the staff were helpful
Confirmed guest, 2015-09-25
A nice clean comfortable caravan, exactly as described on Web site....
The facilities such as shop etc seemed to close early, but then I did go out of main season, can't comment on 'club /bar, swimming pool' as I didn't use them... staff were helpful at arrival and departure... good to see the Security staff about in the evening patrolling when I was walking the dog...
The camp itself was clean and entertainment was average. It was a car ride into Rhyl or 20 minute walk. Caravan owners clearly not friendly to renters but overall we went for a quiet break so it was ok. Morrison and Sainsburys nearby which was a bonus.
