Horrible!!! Never again.....

I booked this holiday with nhs discounts which is why it was value for money. As said previously the caravan had damaged walls, chocolate on the walls, multiple drilled holes and previous occupants hair in the shower.

Stayed in many caravans...this is a new design and its a great layout very spacious for a caravan especially the living/dining area. Could have been a bit cleaner and the beds could have been a bit more comfortable which is reflected in our scores! But overall very happy with our accommodation :)

The caravan was filthy. The cleaners must have swept the floor and that was about it. The sofa had crumbs, crisps and hair all over it. The bedding was covered in fake tan, make up and hair. The surfaces had stains on and hair. Fridge was turned off when we arrived and our toddler slipped on the water when we first arrived. We spent the first hour cleaning the caravan before unpacking or settling in. 2 of the windows were broken in the caravan. Would not stay again.

The caravan we were allicated was of poor standard; leaking shower cubicle, unfixed tuilet bowl, water heater continually going out and difficult to re-light, towel holder in bathrom broken and light shade in kitchen missing. Most of these persisted until our departure, although the maintenance staff did respond to complaints and tried their best to remedy.

was a bit concerned about the fire, and it was cold
Confirmed guest, 2015-05-22
the only thing i didnt like was the bed for us it was too bouncy.everytime you rolled over it felt like you were on a bouncy castle but apart from that it was a lovely caravan.i feel the complex needs a crazy golf or something and more to do for kids.for adults its alovely place if you just wanted to relax,we would stay again.

We had a great holiday only thing that was a little disappointing was the caravan. It was small and had a lot of wear and tear considering it was supposed to be silver it was very basic. However we made do and all though we were a bed short we made it work for our four nights. The park is in a good location and we used it as our base. At the end of the day we paid for a no frills holiday and that's what we got. The parks facilities were good all though a little dated. We would go again but would definitely upgrade a little.

I couldn't sleep the caravan was dirty and smell of dog poo. I have to call the manager and cleaning staff. The bed was fill with urine. It was a nightmare holiday
Unfortunately all the poor reviews I read were accurate. The parking situation is rediculous. There are very few pathways around the site. The arcade was good. The pool was ok, but a bit murky! And for reasons that I could leave not grasp, they were running sessions. Being that the pool was less than half empty, this was not needed? The show bar was ok except they allowed tables to be reserved during the day!! This lead to empty tables and people unable to find seats. Utter madness! Bingo was fun but pricey. Our 2015 gold van was highlight. Although mould had already started to build around the shower. The worst part of it all was the feeling on the park. It felt a bit like you had entered benefit street! It felt like you were holidaying around people's homes.
I would not return. The caravan smelled so bad my partner refused to stay and went home leaving me to look after my autistic daughter on my own. If it were not for her inflexibility and inability to be able to change plans I would not have stayed either but sadly had to endure it!! I went to the nearest supermarket and bought as many types of air freshener as I could find. Never again!! Disgusting, filthy dirty and smelly beyond belief. I didn't complain whilst there. My daughter would not have been able to cope with it and a reduction in my next stay type of gesture was something I would have considered. Although in hindsight a refund would have been the least they could do.
had a great time my children really enjoyed time there as was our first holiday
Was surprised after reading some reviews, the caravan park was fine. It was muddy after a night of rain but would expect that on any caravan park, it does not help when the trucks are driving around between caravans turning up the grass. Staff very helpful and the facilities on site were fine. We ate in Neptumes which is just next door to the site which was lovely. Would go back to New Beach had a great couple of days.
Went for a gold 3 hoping for no problems but when we arrived it hadn't been cleaned properly dead flys on ceiling pooh down loo not hoovered build up of grease all over cooker toast crumbs on work top
All good thanks. 😊

The caravan was as expected for the money we paid. It was clean. The caravan seemed to have been dumped amongst all of the other vans along a access route. Parking was a long walk especially with children. This site was very dated. The clubhouse seemed to be full of owners. Sticky tables and dirty toilets. The entertainment for the children was good. Don't touch the food!!

Where I stayed was very dirty, I had to under 3 boys who couldn't walk around with no shoes on or play on the floor as it was so dirty.
Confirmed guest, 2015-10-05
there was ripped wallpaper, marks on the walls, dirty shower room with mold around the shower door and floor. The gas stove didn't ignite. The beds were not made. The 2 small beds were too narrow - even my 2 year old kid fell out of bed. The caravan is not compatible for 2 year olds for sleeping. The lounge is not good for sleeping when it is cold and too dangerous to have the gas fire on. So, when does our 2 year old sleep - especially when it is cold? Worst of all - parking was too far from the caravan and the loading bay was blocked by parked cars. And the staff couldn't be bothered to provide a luggage cart to transport all of our luggage to and from the car with the dodgy rainy weather to try to avoid and the check-out time needing to be adhered to. Oh, and the water was not at all fit to drink - why were we not informed about this? Silver caravan???? Not even bronze standard! Other Hoseasons resorts are better. It was more about this resort in Dymchurch - it was a disgrace - absolute disgrace. Make sure other reviews are read before buying.

Had the worst weekend. From booking to leaving early.
I had seen good reviews online when booking the holiday but wish I had searched a bit more.
Yes as the other reviews said when I complained about the chocolate that was across the wall it was promptly corrected however there shouldn't have been something so obviously missed when plastered across the wall. Whilst I was waiting to be served I heard one lady say she had completed and been given another caravan however when she got there it was already occupied with other holiday makers.
The pool shut at 4.30 which meant when we returned from days out we could not go swimming. The meals and evening nibbles were good however do not try and plan you day to have meals there as they can just suddenly decide they are going to shut the kitchen. Once we attended to get an evening meal and found they were stopping earlier and another time we arrived thinking we could get the basket meals they do later as given in the documents in our welcome pack only to find kitchen had closed early. Plus the shop had a very varied time.
There is very limited parking that a lot of people had to park where it said no parking otherwise they would not fit on. It was very hard to even get the car near to just drop off. the bags. Plus the car park does not drain well.
Also the childs play area was a bog when we went from the rain fall.
Overall disappointed in the park.
The entertainment team were fantastic with a variety of entertaining shows. The only other good thing is the location of the park to other points of interest like Hastings, safari park, dover castle, Ashford outlet and the trains.
Really enjoyed our stay. Was pleasantly surprised with the caravan we stayed in, was very clean and well looked after. Didn't seem as though there were many staff around but someone was always at info desk if we needed.

A filthy disgusting and rundown park. In short I will not be returning even if it was free.. And will not recommend it to anyone. Caravan was filthy, son's duvet covered in feaces, and noise with swearing and shouting from nearby campers without intervention from staff. Dog poo within the park in walking paths... Entertainment room was just loud, chaotic and not fit for purpose,,, with screaming kids until after 22.00 leaving it difficult for adults or teenage. Food at the restaurant was disgusting and definitely don't bother ordering full English breakfast,,,, the utensils were filthy, food was cold and just a mouthful.... Parking from the car park was all overcrowded, muddy and quite a distance to the caravan. We reduced holiday to just two nights as we couldn't continue in that filthy environment. Forgot to mention the filthy, poo covered toilets in the entertainment room, I tried all 4 and they were all the same poor state. I recommend for the environmental health to visit this place as it is not hygienic
