The site and location was fine however the caravan was very sorry for itself and needed a good clean. It looked like it had been buried under the bushes until 10 mins before we arrived, and then the greenery had been cut back to reveal it. If I had paid full price for it I would have been very angry.
Excellent quiet park which is very well looked after. Most of the caravans look like they are privately owned but we couldn't believe how empty it was. Booked a bronze because of our pet dog and wasn't expecting anything as lovely as we got.
A little dated decor wise but that didn't mean it wasn't lovely, clean and very homely. Plenty of storage space for our things and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment.
The site itself is very small with nothing there apart from the accommodation but that was exactly what we were looking for as only needed a base to explore the area. The grounds were very well kept, grass trimmed and plants and flowers surrounding most of the caravans. A wooden picnic bench was also outside which was a bonus.
Overall I would definitely recommend this site if you're just looking for somewhere reasonable to stay in the area. It was very reasonably priced and we wouldn't hesitate to book another trip.
Very clean, well looked after site, lovely and peaceful
A very relaxing holiday. Couldn't have been better.
Norfolk Broads Country Park is ideal in many ways. It is quiet, with vans spaced for comfort,
well maintained and clean, and access is excellent. However, if you have children, the story is different, as there are no facilities at all on the site.
only problem with the site I couldnt get a mobile phone signal never mind trying to get wifi
Site was beautiful. Very happy with our caravan. Spotlessly clean, it was spacious in the lounge/dining room so we didn't trip over the dog, with plenty of elbow room in the washroom, too, and, for a caravan, a good amount of storage. It had been thoughtfully kitted out, including plenty of hooks for towels and clothing in the bathroom and we self-catered most of the time with the well-stocked kitchen utensils - the only item we used from our "just in case" kit was a vegetable brush. Keyholder was welcoming and informative.
Location good - 5 mins walk to Potter Heigham bridge with its shops and eateries. About half an hour's drive either to the coast (we liked Gorleston) or Wroxham and Horning. Would recommend the Broads Museum near Stalham for all ages - interesting and accessible.
We really love this Park because its so tranquil and would consider going back however not to that particular caravan ...I found the main seating area very uncomfortable. It was difficult to relax. I had to visit the osteopath when we got back
Caravan spacious and functional. Quiet with very nice views. Plenty of storage space. A very nice stay and highly recommended.
Our third stay at Norfolk Broads Holiday Park. Lodge and Caravans are clean and comfortable. The park is well looked after and the staff on site are always very helpful.
We shall visit again later in the year.
Basic & a bit dated, but did the job. Nice central location if you want to see Norfolk.
The site is small and quite and kept very tidy in a lovely location. The caravans are old but clean and very homely.
We had a great weekend visiting family locally. Caravan was clean and warm and perfect as a base. We would stay again.
Overall a nice quiet caravan park within easy walking distance of shop (Lathams) and a nice small pub serving good food and drink, the larger public house next to Lathams was closed down which is a shame as this one is near the boat yards. Some tourist information on local walks ect would of been handy, however we found a nice walk of about 3 miles by inquiring in the local public house.
I would think this is a nice quiet base from which to explore other areas of the broads and norfolk coast by vehicle on days out as Potter Heigham is a small place but good for boat day hire.
Did we have a pleasant relaxing stay here ??
Well definately Yes we did.
Great time, nice and relaxing quiet and comfortable, great shop down the road called Laymans sells everything. The only downside to the holiday was that the WIFI connection is very poor, you will be very lucky if you get connected. But overall my wife and I had a fantastic stay and would recommend this holiday to my friends.
