Beds weren't ideal as I'm a big guy and the wife's quite small. Feet hung over the end.

old leake cottage is a nice house.. but only has the one bathroom with toilet combined and its down stairs.. 3 large bedrooms upstairs and no toilet you have to go down to the bottom of the stairs. it also was not quite equipped enough for 8 people. a big house with a washer but no airer or dryer for those like ourselves who went in the autumn with children and can not peg out . We also had concerns about people who just stood around at the side of the cottage so we where not comfortable about leaving the 2 teenagers on their own, on the positives the house is a lovely place with separate kitchen and dinning area. the bedrooms are spacious but only one bedroom with twin beds. it has a large sauna and great hot tub..

Quiet friendly site in good location for walks, cycling, birding, castles, historic houses & gardens and art & craft activities. We wish we had been able to stay a second week.
Really enjoyed the quietness of the campsite. Well situated for Skegness as long as you don't mind driving. Some great eateries very close by and the two members of staff on the campsite just can't do enough for you. RUSSELL, & claire

Lovely clean comfortable caravan on a quiet site.Really helpful lady ,and very friendly staff.apart from the odd light not working and little minor issues, this did not affect our really enjoyable stay at the caravan.we would definitely stay in this caravan another time and the en_suite bathroom was a real bonus.
As a family of 8 we spent most of our time off of the site but the site was lovely and quiet so it was a relaxing time! We stayed in the cottage and it was absolutely lovely. The hot tub and sauna were a treat to use and we went on evening walks around the area too! The staff were friendly and we all had a lovely 2 week break!
Lovely and quite staff very pleasant and helpful.
Site team very friendlyand helpful. Accommodation was a little basic and a little dated but we did go for the lowest priced one. Could do with being given a deep clean before each visit though. The area is very secluded if you like the quiet..its quite a trek to anywhere if you want entertaining. Lots of families on site. A little play area for kids and a field for ball games. Only a 15 minute drive to Skegness if you love hustle and bustle. Very homely site.
we only had weekend but it was so peaceful ,caravan was very clean ,site was quiet its in the middle farm land and the dogs were welcome.Best nights sleep for along time, we will be going again.staff very helpfull .
Great little park peaceful, spacious & with sufficient lighting around the grounds. You need to have some transport to be able to get places for supplies. Play area needs some attention. Caravans need updating yet currently sufficient for the price.
One touring caravan parked near the toilet block had 2 small dogs of which both became loose & barked outside out van. When I went outside to see them off as it was late and my child was in bed, the owner eventually came halfway across the park to call them back, yet not once did he apologized for the inconvenience and disturbance his dogs had caused!
We stayed in one of the on site statics & it would seam that Touring caravans & Tents are also allowed with ample space. However It would appear that some touring caravans seam to be on a permanent pitch.
