Me and my husband, daughter and grandson spent the May day weekend at Parmontley Hall Lodge it was our first visit but we will definitely go back next year/
We couldnt fault anything the lodge was perfect and surroundings too and the HotTub was wonderful we all loved it and cant wait to go back.
Bob was very helpful we couldnt have been happier. Anne Bob Natalie and Jude
This was our 3rd visit to Parmontley Hall. The location is just fabulous, although a car is definately needed. Bobby, Margaret, Tommy and all the rest are a great bunch of people and nothing is too much trouble for them. Even though a bit pricey we're booked to go back in November, absolutely love this place and the people.
Fantastic getaway. Photos don't show how modern and lovley the lodge is. Perfect romantic getaway
The hot tub was great - lovely and warm and clean - plenty big enough for four with room spare. The lodge was the best we have stayed in. And impressively warm. So much space, privacy and peace and quiet. Even provided dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher!! Didn't realise there would be towels provided either. Want to come back next year! It is a bit of a drive to Hexham from the lodge, but we liked that and planned ahead, dropping into hexham on the way home for food. Hexham Abbey was a wonderful afternoon out and really took us by surprise. The staff there were brilliant too and made the visit even better. We have never seen so many pheasants and rabbits - counted over 70 pheasants within about 2 miles of the lodge when driving out one day.
Gorgeous lodges in beautiful peaceful surroundings. Nice personal welcome from Bob!
This was the 2nd time we have stayed at Partmontley Hall Lodges and we have already booked to stay again in August 2015.
Over the years we have stayed at numerous lodges throughout the UK and this is the only 1 that we have wanted to come back to and stay again.
Everything about the lodge and it's location is fantastic.
The lodge was just as we expected - clean, comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. There aren't many on-site facilities but there is so much in the area that we didn't feel we missed out.
Had a fab break at the lodge, fab location and had a chilled out weekend. Lodge was decorated fab and had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub and would go back, owners were more than helpful and happy to help if needed
The only downside was no nearby shops for a paper on a morning or a few bits of shopping would of had to drive to nearest town. Think the caravan site next door to lodges would do well at selling morning papers, eggs and milk etc
Apart from that was fab and hoping to return at some point
A beautiful tranquil location and lodge. We had a wonderful relaxing break. We had planned some nice walks from local villages and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub when we got back. We never ate at any of the local pubs as we had planned to stay and eat at the lodge - and I was very impressed with the provision of utensils and kitchen facilities - outstanding.
This was a wonderful self catering break and great value for money.
Lovely place, need a car as there is very little around the area without driving. Nice staff who were very helpful. Was a good price for what we paid but wouldn't pay more due to the location.
Excellent location, fabulous lodge with everything you could need. Hot tub was great and would definately return. Excellent, helpful & friendly staff 10/10 all round
Lovely lodges, great location, lovely helpful owners, fantastic 30th birthday weekend away! Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here
Was my birthday treat from friends I had lovely relaxing time away and wasnt bothered about it not beingin middle of nowhere as we had everything we needed. Staff were friendly onn arrival and have recommended it to friends
At present with just 3 lodges in the field its a lovely location although extremely cold and exposed to prevailing northerly wind, not ideal when using the hot tub this time of year. I would expect that during the spring and summer its wonderful, plenty of wild life to see and right next to the river. Only down side that's its too far from the nearest public house to walk.
Wahat an amazing little gem!
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there in January.
Weather prevented exploring the surroundings too much, but the hot tub was fabulous even on a snowy evening!
Kitchen facilities were excellent.
