A very nice place for a quiet and relaxing holiday
my second visit to Talgarth but did notice how dated the accommodation had become. My father was disabled and was very difficult to get him to, in and around the site and leisure buildings, which did make things very difficult. The staff were very helpful as far as they come be. The place has so much potential, cod be so much more than it is
Overall a good stay. Biggest negative point was that we were cold all week! We had all the heaters on nearly all the time and yet the accommodation was cold. When we came to check out the electricity bill was almost £70!! this was for a five night stay!! I did complain at the time and the person behind me waiting to check out supported my view, she too had been staying in a cold apartment. The receptionist gave no explanation or offered any option to take the complaint further. We left feeling slightly ripped off by such a large charge. If we had been warm I wouldn't have minded. Don't go in Winter!
Had our three granddaughters with us and had a wonderful time. More evening entertainment would have been a bonus but enjoyed the quiz night.
A great family holiday
View from window was very nice.
An amazing place to stay.
had one or two issues but these were solved same day by the
management team to our complete satisfaction.
The location was fantastic photos in the brochure do not show amazing views and location, we were pleasantly surprised. However, the restaurant and bar food could be a little more geared to children staying there. Also the nearest local store always seemed to be closed, so it was good that we took some of our own provisions. But overall the location was magnificent and we would holiday here again.
A beautiful part of Wales which is well worth the visit! The swimming pool, steam room and sauna were fabulous.
As a family we had a fabulous time.
Loads of places to go and see close by including Mt Snowdon.
Staff on reception very good especially the lady who checked us in who was extremely helpful. Beautiful location. However the changing facilities in the leisure club very poor - only one working shower, floor constantly wet (poor drainage) and no loo roll on both occasions we used. Clearly not being checked periodically. The shower on the outside pool also not operational. The grounds are kept beautiful.
Beautiful part of the world! The facilities and staff were very good, with the accomodation being very clean and spacious. Perhaps the only suggestion I would make is that the exterior of the properties could do with refreshing coat of paint, however the insides have clearly been redecorated recently. The spa was lovely, and the pub/restaurant was friendly with a good choice available. We would return.
