Enjoyed our stay at Ribby Hall Village but think that there are improvements t be made.
Some of the equipment hire was expensive.
Badminton rackets/shuttle cocks should be included in the price not an additional charge.
The bikes should be in better condition as we had problems with brakes and helmets should be included in the price of the bike hire . The number of people riding bikes without helmets was high and I feel in the interest of safety helmets should be compulsory and not charged extra.
The staff were helpful and efficient.
Lovely surroundings. The cottages are very modern and clean. Plenty of activities for children to do. Swimming pool is great. Food is nice. Near to St Annes which is a nice afternoon out.
Not impressed with having to pay to use the gym thought it would have been included.and child play area indoors vastly overcrowded with weekend child's parties.
very pleased with accommodation and the whole village. would happily recommend to others
We had a fantastic time as a family at Ribby Hall. Booked again for next year. Great Tapas bar, restaurants, pool facilities and lots of outdoor activities. Lovely village of Wrea Green easy walk away. Pub, ice cream parlour, shop, village green and a pond with ducks. Great holiday village for all ages.
Fab holiday. Loved the family entertainment. The food & drink was good quality and good value for money.
Excellent Facilities for children and the food at the Restaurant is exceptional quality.
Harrison's bar feels like it is geared more to the permanent residents. Perhaps a change in the policy regarding over 18's only (say children allowed up to 6pm) would be appreciated.
Stayed in a Ribby Poppy which was a great base for my family. Had a great time exploring the local area, and my son thoroughly enjoyed watching all the wildlife on site.
We all enjoyed our 5 days despite the weather.
All good only point that is negative is the food is very over priced in the bar, did not eat at the bar because of this reasons ate at the pub grapes instead.
Really nice place and I'm sure is even better during the peak season. I stayed during off peak and felt there was a lot of work in progress at the time. Wish it was closer to home and the spa is easily 12 out of 10!
we absolutely loved the cottage and the spa they both deserve 10 out of 10 swimming and ballpool area was great for the kids along the parks, however the messy play I booked infor was terrible and the staff at the bar and grill were terrible first night we ordered a meal we had to order from the bar and eat Ianother area because they couldnt accomodate for 8 adults and 3 children, the menu was clear so when weordered we ordered chips to go with and no one at the bar said the meal comes with chips so everyone ended up with unessesary amount of food that went to waste then when they booked us in for the next day they wanted to know what we all wanted to eat the night before, as you can imagine children change their minds from one minute to the next and us adults didnt want to pick our food for the day after either eespecially after just eating, the staff were rude and very unhelpful in this bar! we had to cancel our booking and travel out of the complex for tea
I was a little disappointed in this resort. Having read reviews of the activities etc I was expecting similar to centre parcs but it wasn't. It was cheaper, but I think I would pay the extra next time.
postives: accommodation lovely and clean, extremely spacious
pool area clean, shop was well stocked and not expensive.
negatives: lots of cars constantly on site, "nature walk" was just a path beside a dual carriageway (!), service and food in the bar and grill was awful and not cheap.
its Ok as a base if you want to see the local area but in my opinion there isn't enough on site to keep you occupied more than a day or two.
Beautiful accommodation, lovely surroundings. Every need catered for.
