All breaks for all arrivals
First time staying at Ribby Hall and had a wonderful time.
Our cottage (Ruby) was perfect - clean / modern. It felt like home from home.
So many things for all the family to do, couldn't fit it all in.
Would go back and have recommended to friends.
Had a fabulous time with a 2.5 yr old and a 10 month old. There was plenty to keep them entertained. They really enjoyed the pool and playgrounds. We also enjoyed the extra activities such as horse riding and playdoh mania. The wildlife provide many more hours of entertainment hunting for fairies, feeding ducks and playing football.
The only disappointment we had was on the day we arrived and not being able to eat at the bar and grill. As we checked in at 4pm and had not prebooked there were no tables free till 6.30 despite the place being empty. Then having the staff at papa John's forget to serve our pizza :-(
As it was the school holidays the cottage was quite expensive for a 4 night stay.
On the whole excellent holiday. Only problems with facilities is the catering - caught out by not booking for the Bar & Grill on the Saturday so having to go to papa Johns for a meal and nothing being available after 9 30 pm.
Stayed in a Ruby lodge, very clean, beds were comfortable, lodge was spacious. As it catered for 6 we were only given 6 of everything, so if you needed extra cutlery - it was not available, same with glasses etc.
This was not our first visit but it may be our last as Ribby Hall is only offering the swimming pool free - all other amenities have to be paid for which can prove costly.
Had a lovely time- first time visit. Would definitely return
My holiday was marred by my daughter falling off a Segway. The Segway course is dangerous in places and I have raised this with Ribby Hall.
have been going to ribby hall for the last 5 years. Kids and adults love it. The only thing is the price keeps going up every year.
Nice location and feel to the place. Leisure facilities were good, our kids were very disappointed that both waterslides were out of action for the first few days and one was out for the full week. Kids really enjoyed the play area and the space around the cottages.
We stayed in a Ruby Cottage which appeared to be newly refurbished, carpets were clean and the bedroom furniture looked new. Overall the cottage was very well equipped with everything you need, including washing machine, dishwasher microwave etc. Ribby Hall itself although it was full, had a spacious feel and didn't seem too busy. The activities were as expected, the boys went fishing, canoeing, we played mini golf, tennis, went swimming and had a go at archery. There is a good choice of places to eat and a shop on site. Overall experience was excellent. for three people occupying a three bedroom cottage it was a little expensive, but that was our choice as this was all that was available, if fully occupied it would have been excellent value.
More activities needed for children over 10, likewise with the entertainment.
The staff running the children's activities in the sports hall were amazing. They enjoyed the activities as much as the very enthusiastic children did. There needs to be something available for the 12-16 year olds.
Had a great holiday at Ribby Hall. The cottage had everything we needed, décor was maybe a little dated but very clean and functional. Older kids loved the Segways and climbing wall and our toddlers loved the pool. The outdoor pay areas are excellent we would definitely visit again.
Very well run holiday village ,a pleasure to visit with lovely surroundings
Had a wonderful time, great facilities, very helpful staff
My family had a great time here. Clean, friendly staff and good value for money. Would recommend this village to my friends and will be back again.
