All breaks for all arrivals
Lovely scenic area with plenty to see and do. So much to do on site, with lots of choice of amenities. Cottage was very homely, well equipped and spotless.
Lovely place very clean and well organised
Superb location. Tranquil, yet close to Kirkby, and only a ten minute drive to the bright lights of Blackpool. Facilities very well maintained, staff all offering a smile and good service. Eating facilities good too, especially the on site cafe. Will be staying again.
Cottage was brilliant but no clothes airer and despite asking receptionist one did not materialise . The DVD/Blu ray player didn't work properly. Surroundings and facilities really nice. Very expensive but that's because we stayed during the school holidays.
The staff were all very polite and friendly doing their best to ensure you enjoyed your stay. The facilities were good but if you wish to join in the entertainment with little ones in the evening go early as seating is tight. The pool is well run and a major attraction if the weather is not brilliant. Horse riding is very popular the nature trail is also good fun. Some of the work shops have a charge but our little ones loved the Frozen activity. The indoor area for the little ones could be improved, it needs to be larger to cater for times when the weather is poor. Location is good and we enjoyed a day in Blackpool. All in all very satisfied.
Great place, lots to do, first class fascilitie's and very clean, good restaurants, impressed wth food standard and at very reasonable prices. recommend, great Family holiday.
Excellent for children and in a good area
First time staying at Ribby Hall and had a wonderful time.
Our cottage (Ruby) was perfect - clean / modern. It felt like home from home.
So many things for all the family to do, couldn't fit it all in.
Would go back and have recommended to friends.
Had a fabulous time with a 2.5 yr old and a 10 month old. There was plenty to keep them entertained. They really enjoyed the pool and playgrounds. We also enjoyed the extra activities such as horse riding and playdoh mania. The wildlife provide many more hours of entertainment hunting for fairies, feeding ducks and playing football.
The only disappointment we had was on the day we arrived and not being able to eat at the bar and grill. As we checked in at 4pm and had not prebooked there were no tables free till 6.30 despite the place being empty. Then having the staff at papa John's forget to serve our pizza :-(
As it was the school holidays the cottage was quite expensive for a 4 night stay.
On the whole excellent holiday. Only problems with facilities is the catering - caught out by not booking for the Bar & Grill on the Saturday so having to go to papa Johns for a meal and nothing being available after 9 30 pm.
Stayed in a Ruby lodge, very clean, beds were comfortable, lodge was spacious. As it catered for 6 we were only given 6 of everything, so if you needed extra cutlery - it was not available, same with glasses etc.
This was not our first visit but it may be our last as Ribby Hall is only offering the swimming pool free - all other amenities have to be paid for which can prove costly.
Had a lovely time- first time visit. Would definitely return
