I've stayed in a number of caravans over the years and this was the best I've been in.

Lovely site. However the shower tray was blocked. The sink plug failed to work making it hard to shave. Plus it was very dark to shower. Poor light. Caravan door was droppedaking it impossible for the women to close it. Broken lamp shade and large hole in wall. All things that should of been fixed before our stay. Toilet floor was not clean and rubbish left under bed from previous holiday makers. Apart from that it was lovely.

Just a short walk to village shop selling newspapers, bread, etc. also in short walking distance a good pub selling great bar food. (Closed on Mondays.)
Good centre for exploring naighbouring villages and walks from the caravan site which all makes for a relaxing holiday.

A lovely site with the bonus of no noisy club only one thing would be that the camp would benefit from some caravans suitable for partly disabled people
very good park was lovely and quiet

If your looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. A lovely small park with no club house to shatter the peace. A great base for touring the attractions of North Yorkshire. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful well kept park. My daughter and I were on our own for this holiday just to chill out and relax that was why we went in September when children would be back at school.

The holiday was a success but would have liked the shop to have been open more and fresh milk and bread available and information on the surrounding area

nice clean and quiet park
Beautiful surroundings, great staff and brilliant holiday.
One suggestion I can make is, yes you do provide directions and mention about the sat nav not taking us to the correct gate however, I think at the gate which is a "no entry" there should be a LARGE sign with the directions to the correct entrance as it's not the clearest.

Be warned if using Three mobile company. No mobile signal. Weak with O2. Nice park. Friendly people. Well designed. Getting food from pubs was a nightmare. Went to 6 before one could feed us. They dont seem to like holiday makers. Over an hour wait in most. They daid they was to busy but was half empty. Expensive to park in York. Flamingo land was hell. Over 1 hour wait for rides. Worst family holiday ever. Moors was lovely. Everywhere else i hated.
We loved our trip to Robin Hood caravan park. The caravan we stayed in was clean, tidy and well equipped for our family needs. The location of our caravan wasn't ideal as it was very close to the facilities for the people on the camp site as we paid for a larger caravan so we're hoping for a little more privacy. We were also quite close to the bins for the whole park which was unpleasant but overall our experience was a good one.

Good quite location with basic amenities and not alot to offer within walking distances. But we knew this when booking so this did not effect our holiday as we were out each day from 10am to 10pm exploring the surrounding area's with the dogs. Great place for exploring but maybe need to be closer to the coast if more child friendly attractions if you have kids.
Confirmed guest, 2015-07-25
A very well maintained site situated in a small village. Friendly staff and brilliant play park for the kids. On site shops was great for milk and other bits and pieces. It was very safe for children to play outside and all cars adhered to the 5 mph speed limit. There is so many places to visit within a 30 minute drive we could have stayed longer!

Lush, fertile countryside, pretty market towns and a treasure trove of historic interest are all within easy reach of our holiday parks in the Vale of York. And whichever park you choose, you’ll be ideally located for exploring the ancient city of York. Rich in history, dominated by the magnificent Minster, York is brimming with great attractions. Within its superbly preserved city walls, you’ll find quaint shopping streets and fascinating museums. Be sure to see (and smell!) life under the Vikings at the Jorvik Museum and train enthusiasts will love the National Railway Museum.North of the city, and within a short drive of all our holiday parks, the Vale of York’s gently rolling countryside is the backdrop to traditional market towns like Thirsk – home to the popular World of James Herriot. Make time to visit Castle Howard, of TV’s Brideshead Revisited fame, and Eden Camp for an evocative insight into civilian life during the Second World War. And from Pickering, you can board the North York Moors Steam Railway for a trip across the ‘Heartbeat’ moolands to Whitby. Choose Hoseasons caravan holidays in the Vale of York and enjoy all these attractions, and so much more.
