The holiday accommodation concerned must be the same as the one you book through Hoseasons and must in particular have:
All you need to do is provide us with proof of the lower price you have been quoted by giving us evidence (including the telephone number or the details of the website where the price can be confirmed). We reserve the right to reject claims if reasonable proof is not available or if the holiday accommodation is not the same. The lowest price must be available on the day that you make your booking. If you have written or e-mailed proof of the price, you can just e-mail or fax this to us. If you are sending your proof by post, please send it first class. stayed in gold chalet there was nowhere to sit outside apart from being on pavement.chalet just about met our expectations, would have benefitted a sweeping brush/sweeper.not very well signposted on what is abusy main road, making access rather challenging.
had a very good time helped by the good weather
Plenty of places to visit in Somerset
Just needed a higher bed for mum who is 89!!! She couldn't get off it without help.
We stopped in the gold chalet.
The chalet was very clean and smart but the toilet and shower is terrible. We checked forcsteps because one of our party is registered disabled but theres an 8 inch step down into the bathroom.if you use the toilet the systern takes an age to fill and whilst filling its so noisy that we wouldnt flush at night. The sink hax a mirror with a shelf over it but the sink is so small that when you bend over to wash you hit your head on the shelf. But the worst has to be the shower. The hot water last only minutes and tge cubical is so small that at 6ft the only way i could shower was with the door open.
The site itself is a little bland and could do with a little landscaping to smarten it up.
The club house is ok but you get food in it, instead you have to go into what I would class as a transport caf standard diner by the side of the club. Also the bar is just a center for kids entertainment, theres nowhere to have a quiet drink without the kids club or bingo in your face.
Having said all of this its a nice clean site in a lovely area, the staff are very friendly and helpful and we would probably visit again, but perhaps not in the chalets.
Need more local shop and pub's and cafe .more dog friendly areas for walking as there no place on the site
Had a great holiday here and will definitely be going back.
we found the site itself to be in a lovely location and only a short walk to the main attractions, there is also a bus stop just outside where you can go to burnham or western super mare (which is lovely).the staff on site where friendly, but it is only a small site and has one eating establishment that isn't open all the time and a small pool and a park and shop.the main let down we found was that for the price the accommodation we had, which was a silver chalet,we didn't feel was worth it,it was mis matched and needed a re paint, the bathroom was very small and in need of ripping out and re doing and the beds were very un comfortable.
We have just come back from a 4 day holiday at Sandy Glade. We will not be returning. Before going I had read some bad reviews but was optimistic. Well they were right, the reception staff were very rude and definately need to learn some manners. We asked 3 times for an extra chair in our chalet (Slept 8 but only had 6 dinning chairs) never got one.
The chalet itself was tiny not big enough for a family of 4 let alone 8 people. Very dated needs new kitchens, bathrooms. Generally updating. The club house was nice but very small, too small for amount of guests never enough tables at night.
The swimming pool was ok, although again not enough activity placements. Fully booked up on the first day.
Only good point to the holiday was the Stripies, the kids loved stripy Tori. She kept the kids entertained. She was very friendly and was always happy to help.
Would not recommend this site to any of my friend and family.
The stripeys were brilliant. They entertained my daughter and made her holiday as good as possible. The receptionist was rude and she would be the only reason to stop me coming back.
As soon as we booked in with reception I knew it was going to be a brilliant holiday. Young lady on reception gave us excellent service. The silver chalet we booked was very clean and well equipped. the location was good, as it was close to all amenities. Entertainment was good and bar, shop, and takeaway staff were brilliant. The only gripe I have is, that as it was half term week, the swimming pool could have been open for peak season times i.e. an hour extra.
Very pleased with setting, quiet location andtrouble
lovely holiday great we could take the dogs
In easy reach of Brean but when we were there the Splash pool wasn't open even though it said it was open all year round . Close to Burnham on sea and Weston super mare which had things to do
vey good no problems only to park otherwise went very well
