great value holiday
Poor accomadation.Not enough comfortable seats
Very enjoyable. Surprised that there was only one small café on site with limited menu.
caravwn clean and tidy but lacked cleaning equipment. broken brush and hoover without a pipe. appreciate a dog friendly caravan but torn nets made it quite shabby. site is perfect for local ammenities. staff could be more welcoming. may be some dog friendl areas on site unable to use any inside facilities or enterainment. og
Nice quiet holiday park, great base for you to explore Somerset. Less than half a mile from the beach you cannot go wrong with Sandy Glade.
Nice holiday camp and pleasant helpful staff. Good we could take the dog and plenty of places to walk.
Not enough facilities, pool could be open later each day
We had a lovely week's stay at Sandy Glade. It was a great base for driving to various places for day trips. The pool was lovely and clean, there wasn't a lot of changing facilities but this was never a problem as when we used the pool it was never busy. The activities in the pool were great for the kids and very good that they were free. The beach was very close by and was lovely and clean. The kids disco was really enjoyed by our three children, we never stayed in the clubhouse late so not sure about the family/adults entertainment but i'm positive this would have been great too. The park was good, not so much to do for younger children though.
The caravan was spacious and well positioned. Could have done with a deep clean as the walls in the kitchen were dirty but generally clean. Kids loved the park and proximity to the beach. Pool wasn't used by us as it was overcrowded. Evening entertainment was quite good but there was nowhere near enough seating for the number of people.
Had an amazing time will definately be booking again soon
Not very clean. Curtain falling down no cooking trays to use for cooking. Beds not very clean. No hot water
Good for families with dogs. The shop could be better stocked - very limited selection. The pool opening hours were quite restricted
Checking was in was a bit painful, there was along wait and the vans weren't ready by the 4pm check in time. The clubhouse cannot cater for the number of people staying at the site, we visited Saturday evening and it was packed, we stood with our kids and had a drink, waiting for about 45 minutes but no tables became available so we left and the bar lost our business. We didn't go back during our stay. Unlikely we would stay here again despite the van being clean and the site being quiet.
Was surprised to find no heating in the bedrooms in the caravan as it was March And cold. Swimming pool was freezing. Restaurant not being located in the bar meant had to travel to eat out. Entertainment not great if kids older than toddlers. Overall disappointed.
Lovely caravan park nice & clean friendly staff great entertainment for children value for money would go back again
