Fantastic, peaceful location.
fab 4 day holiday sea cote caravan lovely spacuse and clean with sea view,
reception staff very friendly and helpfully.
our lab Millie and westie Billie enjoyed all the walks we did every day, lots of pathways to
walk left and right of our caravan,we walked to nether town one of the days and caught
the train back to st bees.
went to the sea cote hotel on site Saturday night, asked if we could get a meal for the 4 of us, the duty manager went out of her way to ask the chef , who stayed to make us a 3 course meal, soup to start, and the tastier beef I had eaten in long time, and meringue for pudding, sorry forgot to tell you about the fab home made yorkshires, not 4 of them but a plate put down in the middle of the table with loads on.
would we ever return the answer is yes, go and give it ago you would be surprised to see how clean the beach is for young children to play on, and our dogs loved to run up and down the sea front, ice cream van, cafe, and shop ,its not over commercialized st bees just the way you would like it, mind you we did have a mixture of weather, but it made up for it looking out of our caravan window at the scenery on a wet day.
would we recommend our hoeseasons holiday to st bees, you bet, thanks for a great time
kind regards Jane, rob,Laura, gaz and Millie and Billie x.
We arrived an hour before check-in time after a long drive in very wet and chilly weather. No problem, reception staff were welcoming and advised our caravan was ready for us.
Having not stayed in a caravan for many years we were very pleasantly surprised. Our caravan was spacious, clean and well furnished. The central heating was very efficient and we were soon settled in and warm.
Seacote Park is in a lovely setting at the start of the coast-to-coast walk and we enjoyed fantastic and dramatic scenery towards the Isle of Man walking the 7-8 mile stretch from St Bees to Whitehaven the following (sunny) day.
The children enjoyed the play park (shame the zip wire was not working) and best of all the beach.
A very pleasant stay. We would certainly return.
The only downside was that the recycling bins near to our caravan soon became full over the weekend, and by Sunday and Monday waste was scattered around. Maybe more bins required?
This was not the cleanest caravan we have entered. There were irritating minor problems from the start which could have been rectified by Staff before our arrival. Two dining chairs were coming apart and we seemed to be the first to have noticed them! The frying pan handle was obviously loose but it was up to us to make it known at reception. Shower tray was blocked on first use, toaster did not work. All these things were however dealt with immediately by staff. The caravan itself was very roomy and cosy which was much needed as weather was terrible during our stay. Very quiet place but very picturesque and the beach was lovely and very close. Children had a play area which looked well kept but very little else for them but we knew this before arrival.
Great, just needs wifi
Thumbs up for a dog friendly van with heating ....
First time at a caravan park & pleasantly surprised at the facilities. Great location although quiet.
Although sweeping brush and mop available a vacuum cleaner would have been good to have as there were signs that other dogs had been in the accommodation
Well set out holiday home. Lovely using the central heating after a cold walk on the fells.
Nice quiet park with modern caravans. Next to beach.
Near childrens' play area. Good location for exploring the coast, coastal towns and the west side of the Lake District .
overpriced for time of year and occupancy.only the surface clean look in corners dirty.fittings worn and dirty.thank goodness for Dettol spray.lovely location good walks for dogs.
We love Seacote Park - an excellent base to enjoy the beach and the lakes. Its our two dogs favourite holiday of the year!
arrived late but keys were left for us , no complaints watsoever, had a nice stay.
It was a pleasant holiday, great weather and staff , the only thing missing was Wi-Fi , which would bring the site up to date with other locations we have stayed .
