The caravan was a good size with nearly everything you need. However, the bathroom smelt of damp and mould which carried through the whole caravan. Also, it needed a deep clean, everything was sticky to touch including plates and surfaces. There were 2 baby cots in the lounge when we arrived. This was not a problem to us, as we just put them in the spare room (there were only 2 of us). When I made the effort to tell reception, in case they needed them - there was no thanks, it was as if I was putting them out. On a positive note, a very cheerful and polite man turned up to collect them soon after. The clubhouse was ok ish. They did not do a soundcheck on the first night, as you couldn't hear them. 2nd night was better on this front. I saw a 10 year old refused entry for having sweets not purchased on the premises, yet a man with a bald head and a large pitbull looking dog allowed to hang around outside. The entertainment staff tried really hard and the bar staff were good.
But I would not come here again as I did not feel comfortable or safe, and it was not clean.
Everything in the caravan was great - unfortunately though the cleaners had been a bit slap dash and the floor and surfaces were very grubby - had to spend 30mins cleaning.
Recently stayed in a gold plus caravan and it was faultless. Very clean, huge for a family of 5 with an excellent kitchen facilities and the shower was excellent! Only thing that let it down was all the fag ends outside the front as children kept picking them up.
Children's entertainment was brilliant. Indoor and outdoor pools basic but nice. Park good for older children. Mini golf £1.50 pp but price as it's very run down.
Essex seagull pub nice! Children's meal £4 Inc drink and icecream, pint £2.90.
Shop well stocked but thought it was expensive.
beach very disappointing as covered in dog poo so would not go there again.
After arriving at our caravan, we had to clean all the pans and pots as they where all coated in a film of grease. The floor in the kitchen area was sticky, the staff need training on the cleaning program.
The double bedroom was a good size, the unfortunate thing about the room is that the window was up against a brick wall so no light or air got into the room. In the mornings the room was noticably damp and we had to dress in damp clothing which was not pleasant.
I would not recommend this sight to any of my friends or relatives
Site was ok but have stayed in better.
Seawick holiday park is one of the best holiday parks I have booked the entertainment is very very good on this site
the bar staff in the venue accused my son of having a fake i.d when it wasn't, and also when we arrived the chalet smelt of faeces
good holiday, new caravan, however we were in 134 which is next to the entertainment and opposite the playpark and football pitch.
No need to go out at night as you could hear it from the caravan. Ideal if you wanted to be close to everything.
we did not,but made the best of it. The high light was at the weekend when the drum majorettes arrived for competions......... The noise level went up.
We would go back but in a quieter area of park.
Ideal location, and all the staff we spoke to were very helpful.
My stay at seawick holiday park was just as I expected. The site was clean and tidy, staff were friendly plenty of entertainment. This is the second year at staying at this park and would continue to do so
First time way with my puppy.very near beaches were nice. But was not told about the doggy green on campsite which was nice. Also my Caravan was right near the Venue so especially weekends my puppy and I didn't get much sleep.
Poor entertainment, only 45 minutes of entertainment for adults. Couldn't access the beach as too many steep slopes and cars driving along the beach.
we as a family had a nice little break staff were very friendly few litte hiccups but overall nice holiday
Scruffy, worn out, unsecure windows, curtains falling down, not even up to a bronze standard yet I paid extra for silver accommodation
We were able to get to and from the area very well. We had very little contact with the staff and received help at the launderette from others staying on site, the launderette only opened between 9.00 and 5.00 , it would have been better if it opened in the evening.
