All breaks for all arrivals
Would have been better if cars only had access fo loading and unloading. We didn't find it safe for the children .
The chalet we stayed in was dirty and i had to wash all cutlery and plates etc before use. On arrival there was glass outside our chalet which i notified a member of staff about and when leaving on day 3 it was still there which with young children is completely unacceptable. We had to leave the bathroom window open due to the smell of urine from the bathroom floor which was also sticky and i presume was urine. We booked to stay for 4 nights however left after 3 due to the condition of the chalet, we had a 4 month old baby in our party and left with her having a chest infection which i put down to the unhygeinic conditions. Never again!
worst holiday we have ever had to be searched on entering club house my child has severe allergies and unable to eat your snacks sold we were told by ben to take them back to the caravan or he would dispose of them absolututely disgusted. My son mislaid his club pass and wasnt allowed back in to the club house to let us know he wasnt allowed in . I would certainly not be advising any of my friends and family to visit your park , it was a good job that our stay was just a 2 night break before we travelled to our 2nd park which was fantastic.
I stayed at seawick holiday village with my two boys for a week break. Value for money. Shop onsite was excellent value and the lady in there was very helpful and friendly. The staff at reception seemed very rushed if you talked to them.
Good value for money
Found the caravan to be dirty the cooker was greasy and the work surface next to the cooker, the toilet was smelly, the floor i cleaned 4 times and was still getting muck up. However sheets were laundered perfectly. facilities very good staff amazing. shame about the neighbours lots of swearing and we were with our grand children.
Overall it was OK you get what you pay for the park is well away from Clacton and other towns. Entertainment was to late the children's entertainment was average mainly because you could not understand what they were saying as it was very distorted.
The staff were very good, there is a shop for basics, crazy golf has seen better days, the outdoor pool is very small and shallow.
We did not use the children's day time groups as we were off of the site everyday we was there.
Very basic, accommodation not to a high standard
Would have given 11 out of 10. Staff were great and the caravan was fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend Seawick to anyone.
Very boring place!!! No good for kids at all,and you better have your pound coins ready for the machines as that's all the kids will be asking for!!! And food choice forget it very very very over priced rubbish junk food
good break at an affordable price to quote arni we'll be back
Amazing holiday, for the low price we payed the location of the site was perfect even if you don't drive you do not need to leave the site and its surrounding areas, everything there to occupy and entertain not children but adults also!
Can't wait to come back, would definitely recommend to friends and family looking for a nice caravan holiday!
Thanks seawock and St oysth for a wonderful holiday
The caravan was a good size with nearly everything you need. However, the bathroom smelt of damp and mould which carried through the whole caravan. Also, it needed a deep clean, everything was sticky to touch including plates and surfaces. There were 2 baby cots in the lounge when we arrived. This was not a problem to us, as we just put them in the spare room (there were only 2 of us). When I made the effort to tell reception, in case they needed them - there was no thanks, it was as if I was putting them out. On a positive note, a very cheerful and polite man turned up to collect them soon after. The clubhouse was ok ish. They did not do a soundcheck on the first night, as you couldn't hear them. 2nd night was better on this front. I saw a 10 year old refused entry for having sweets not purchased on the premises, yet a man with a bald head and a large pitbull looking dog allowed to hang around outside. The entertainment staff tried really hard and the bar staff were good.
But I would not come here again as I did not feel comfortable or safe, and it was not clean.
Everything in the caravan was great - unfortunately though the cleaners had been a bit slap dash and the floor and surfaces were very grubby - had to spend 30mins cleaning.
