Lovely quiet location, not for people who want evenings entertainment and on site shops etc. It is the perfect location if you want a very peaceful stay away from the main busy areas of the lake district, there are lots of things to do in the towns around the area.
Lovely peaceful park, ideal location for touring the West Lakes and Coast.
Staff helpful and friendly. Great site for those who like walking in the Lakes, Photography, and sight seeing. Full mobile phone signal on park, and nearby shops in Gosforth just down the road.Do not miss a visit to Wast Water, and Ravenglass for the railway.
Lovely drive up to Boot village.
A nice site but would have liked some facilities for children to play on.
Lovely caravan with full central heating.
No restaurant bar within easy safe walking distance
A lovely caravan (we have had some pretty awful ones. Some site owners seem to think that because we have a dog we will except anything) Beautifully clean and comfortable. We were made very welcome by the owner who told us where we could walk the dog etc.
Location is good, with the coast only a few miles to the west and the Lakes to the east. Visit Wasdale Head (10 miles) for the best views, Ravenglass for the steam railway and Muncaster Castle.
