We were actually visiting family nearby and it was a good base for us. Accommodation was spacious and clean, but a little 'tired'. Staff were extremely helpful as I left an item in the chalet which they kindly and efficiently returned to me.

we would have preferred to have the hot tub ready for us coming in. we had to wait for hours for the hot tub to be heated which meant that we didn't spend much time in it as we had to be out for 10.00p.m
We arrived at 12.30pm as we had fast tracked our chalet. On entering the chalet it stank of cigarette smoke. I rang the manager of the site and he immediately arranged for another chalet to be made available to us. There are signs asking people not to smoke in the chalet's but some people just don't care. The only negative we had with the chalet, was the size of the television, they are a bit on the small size by today's standards. The entertainment team work very hard and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the entertainment bar. As we have family in Cumbria, we tend to just use the site as a base for visiting family and somewhere to sleep at night. We visit a couple of times a year, and this time we noticed that the site has had a tidy up making it much nicer. There is room for improvement but things are moving in the right direction. All the members of staff were very friendly and helpful, they always have been and deserve a bonus. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Always smiling and polite.

This is the worst place I've ever been too.
It was dirty, run down.. I will be writing a full complaint and sending it shortly.
The place is in the middle of nowhere with a hour and a half to get anywhere decent.
From the reception to the lodge was awful, I inviting, filthy and run down and dated.
It had put me off going to any future places you own.
1st chalet was not very nice. Hot tube then broke on the Tuesday however the staff we really very helpful. Move to 2nd chalet which was much nicer. Very clean and the bar was very nice. Nice park and would go again

The park looked tired and so did Silloth. The shop wasn't very well stocked and we had to play 'tetris' with the furniture every time we wanted to sit at the table to eat as there wasn't a lot of space. Would have been disappointed if we had paid full price but as we didn't it was OK. Pool facilities dirty and very little room for family changing or for people with disabilities. Spa pool was freezing. Staff were lovely though and the park was tidy and well kept just in need of a makeover. Wish we could be more positive but 'okay' is the best I can say.

A lovely little town by the coast , our 4 bedroom caravan was nice and clean, and had a spacious living area, although the bedrooms were very small, the site was safe enough for the girls to be able to go off for short periods in their own , they loved the animal farm
The club house was what we expected, a little shabby and in need of an update, we were disappointed that the "very young" children's entertainment went on till 9.30, and the team were singing nursery rhymes at this late hour, much to the dismay of our 8 year olds
The pool was a nice size and safe for the girls
The place is horrible and run down, I found a fish hook in end of sofa and on arriving had to get toilet re-cleaned.
Entertainment is a joke unless you are a toddler and as for the bistro, dirty is an understatement, I can see why it has a hygiene rating of 3, my son was ill Wednesday night and Thursday after eating in the bistro.
You only have to read the reviews on Facebook.
We ended up going to Stanwix and had a brill time
Only went because it was a flash sale enjoyed the drive up and the site looks nice but chalet is basic and dated... But for the price(under 2 hundred) was good enough...could be a great site the farm was lovely but what lets the site down most is stairs to pool stairs to entertainment flights of stairs it's ridiculous for families with buggies or wheelchairs... Would stay again at sale price but wd never pay the full price... It's nothing like a haven site...nice enough though...
