All breaks for all arrivals
Although the accommodation was clean, it was very basic with limited heating facilities. The site was not suitable for young children to stay amused for long. Play area extremely poor considering the size of the site.
The cafe/restaurant was limited hours which is not good. The pool had to be booked before use, again not good.
The staff were good, helpful and a pleasure to meet.
Very quiet park which is nice, however not the best with a ten year old that gets bored easily. Pool requires booking to use. The arcade is more of a room with broken machines in and the club is a bit of a dive.
I Loved the caravan and the weekend was good with lots to do out and about
Nice caravan much better than other review lead us to believe. It is a quiet site so not for you if you like a lot on site. Good location close to Southport and not far from Liverpool.
Very helpful staff particularly in reception and swimming pool.
Poor site facilities wise. The caravan was ok though. Just a bit to far from Southport.
We were given a caravan fitted out for a disabled person which did not suit our needs as we are both able bodied. Having said that the van was otherwise top class . Some site ammenaties were very poor and somewhat shabby especially the bar & lounge area. 0verall this was one of the poorest sites we have been on and was suitable only as a base for our frequent visits into Southport which we found to be a very enjoyable experience.
Good lovely place . Would stay again . Nice too see more things to do on site .
Upon check in we were told by a less than helpful member of staff that we could only park 1 car alongside the caravan and would have to leave the other at the parks entrance. Unexpected when you consider we stayed in a 4 bed caravan that sleeps up to 10. As a party of 4 adults, 1 child and 2 babies this was unacceptable. We had tea at the on-site lounge/bar on the first night and didn't return as the choice was very limited and we preferred cooking ourselves in the caravan. The bar area was ok but could be improved by a little modernisation. Our 7 year old enjoyed the kids entertainment but it could have done with a little variety. The kitchen should have been better equipped for a 4 bed caravan and more attention to detail is needed when cleaning the caravan. We had to move beds around to make way for the 2 cots we hired and it was clear that the floor hadn't been hoovered for sometime. For the money we paid the accommodation was acceptable but could be improved with a few tweaks.
We had a nice time.
Entertainment vanue and content needs updateing.
It would be better if the Boiler is located in common area instead of bedroom.
Loved the caravan we stayed in very clean very lots of space nice and posh change of club a nor happy with no sats at night and dj was quit rude at times and grumpy liked the old entertainment team loads better park needs a lot more on it and one on the static side but over all lovely holiday
Nice pleasant surroundings in a quiet location.
The caravan was lovely and clean and the holiday park was well presented. The park amenities were basic but as expected. Only a short drive from Southport with plenty to do Pleasureland, water park, piers, parks, amusements and shopping facilities. Definitely planning to go back next year.
Lovely family holiday, we hired 2 platinum caravans for extended family.
Grandparents, parents, and children in 2 caravans. We used the pool quite a
a bit. Usually need to book the day before but was able to book on the day once or twice. The only downside is the park which I didn't see but was informed is quite poor and needs some work. The club was busy but there were quiet areas.
This is second time we have stayed at Riverside, came once with our grandchildren a couple of years ago and can see the improvements the management are making.
Will definitely visit again next year!
Good holiday caravan lovely to say I was expecting the worse!
